Cobra LD heads

Curious if anyone would know how one could go about getting ahold of Cobra long drive heads? I'm interested in the 5.5* Radspeed and LTD heads, and I've seen both Bryson and Kyle B using them, but they obviously aren't available at retail and I've never seen them pop up on eBay either.

 

Does a guy need to have a special connect or does anyone know of any long drive shops that carry Cobra products.

It might be a tall order to get your hands on one... I know from interviews with Cobra they have like 2-3 functional heads for Bryson at any given time. 

 

With Berkshire on board, they might start making more... but LD heads from the big OEMs are always a struggle to get, especially with Adams gone.

Sad to hear, but that’s kind of what I figured. I’ll just keep my eyes on eBay on the off chance one pops up.

Figured I would give this a bump…

 

Qualified for Stage 2 of the Pro Long Drivers World Championship this weekend and am going to need to buy at least one more long drive setup. None of the online suppliers that I can see carry Cobra products so I was wondering if any WRX’rs have any insider info on where they can be found (besides keeping an eye on eBay)

I doubt it is coming anytime soon. I think we would have seen a bigger push to get other pro long drivers in the cobra heads but everyone else is still in Krank or Callaway.

Update if anyone is interested:

 

Cobra recently released a small batch of 5.5 degree long drive heads to the public but they sold out in about 5 minutes - I was told via my head pro they only had 5 - yes, 5 - available.

 

Also heard they are hoping to release more later this summer. Fingers crossed.

I saw a post on their Instagram commemorating Berkshire winning 3 long drive events in a row and a message saying they have limited quantities of the heads available. However, 10 minutes later the post was taken down and the heads were sold out.

I went and looked and after the page partially loaded it went 404. But... Who the hell is gonna pay 599$ for a head? You can still buy Epic Speed LD heads for 350$ brand new.

5.5 is sick but like everyone is saying here too pricey on eBay. I see them come across classifieds ever so often and other lower traffic golf sites
