I really enjoyed his work on the Golf Channel. Shocked to hear he passed.

Had no idea he died and died with Alzheimer’s.  I don't watch The Golf Channel as much as I like too but I think the last time I watched him was a few months ago and he looked fine and healthy.

NO WAY! He had Alzheimers?!?!?!?

 

I watch TGC a lot and I love his interviews and analysis and there is no way this guy showed any sign of Alzheimers.

 

This is a complete SHOCK. Rest in Peace, Tim and THANK YOU for all your wonderful analysis and insight that you have brought.

He was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's near the end of 2020. He retired from GC and the end of 2019 with cognitive problems.

Saw a short piece on him kind of talking about it not all that long ago - far too young and it took him so fast.  He found a nice life in golf seemingly earning a living doing what he loved doing - lucky!

I’m normally pretty numb to people I don’t know passing, but this one hits home. He was great on tv, well respected and liked by everyone he interacted with and I feel like golf on tv has been less without him the last 2 years. RIP, hope he’s interviewing Arnie and Hogan right now and finding the best heavenly watering hole with Bruce Edwards later.

I always enjoyed his segments where they appear during golf coverage. You learn so much from it whether it is about the player, tournament or history of the game.

Wow I had no idea he was sick.    He was truly a journalist, a rare species .   Makes me have so many questions about how Alzheimer’s coulda take someone so fast ? Rip young man.
