Work boots for concrete floor

Long story short, Heavy duty tech back in the trade after a short layoff needing new steel toe boots. I work 7 12 hour days then off for 7 days. I'm on concrete all the time and climbing up and down machines. Anyone recommend a good pair of boots for this type of work? They need to be 8" steel toe and CSA approved for use in Canada.

I’ve always been partial to Red Wing but I’m seeing a lot of guys wearing Danner now. I’m about 60% on gravel and 40% concrete. 
 

I’ll be watching to see what other guys say.

I spend a lot of time in plants on concrete floors. I've had decent luck with the Rockport line of work boots/shoes. I've also had decent luck with the Redwings, but the pair I had just felt heavy.

If Danner makes a steel toe I’d look into them.  I hunt in Danners and they are super lite and feel like tennis shoes walking fields all day.

Keen would be my choice if I had to have a safety toe. But I don't; I wear crepe sole pull on's and I am on concrete all day.

With all due respect, the man is working 7 12hr shifts in a row. Not exactly when you want to think “budget choice” IMO. Now your 16/17 years old dipping your toe into a trade with a Summer job… Sure, those budget brands fit the bill. 
Tuff to beat Danners. And your feet will thank you after one (or seven) of those 12 hour days on concrete!

I have a pair of these that I wear 8 hours a day on concrete floors and I think their the best shoes that I've ever had for spending that much time on concrete floors, and I've been doing this for 30 years.

Always been partial to Red Wing myself. If you can find a model with the Vibram wedge sole and a steel toe, that would be great for concrete floors all day.

Ariat is an other good option.

 

If you don't need steel toe Vasque makes a good boot too

I'll add another Ariat vote. I have a couple of pair as I work outside in everything but lightening. I wear a composite toe in the Turbo and Edge LTE Chukka. Few of my coworkers wear the Terrain Wide Square steel toe and don't have any complaints.

I used Red Wing 4417 logger-style for 1.5 years when I did a stint in production welding. I found that style sole and heal was much more comfortable than standard soles. I've never tried other brands like Danner, but for as much as I need boots now I doubt I'll ever wear out the Red Wings.

Thanks guys. I settled on Timberland pro Boondocks. Selection in Canada is different than US so I couldn’t find all models mentioned. These had a pile or great reviews. Here’s hoping.

Wanted to come back and add to this thread. I just wore out another pair of Red wing boots in just over 6 months. A good friend of mine who works out in the field doing telecommunication cabling told me about Brunt work boots. So I ordered a pair to try. They feel pretty good and the stitching, quality of the boot, look very good.
