I went with the Rogue ST Max LS with the Tensei Blue AV 60.  It's HOLY s*** awesome.  It's forgiving AND low spin for me.  Best driver I've hit since my original GBB Epic that I played for years & finally cracked a couple months ago.  I got along with the Epic Speed OK, but the ST Max LS is a whole 'nother level of playable and performant.

My custom (blacked out) Rogue ST Max LS just arrived with the Tensei AV Blue 60s.  Can't wait to hit it in the garage this weekend

Yes, head cover seems a little "light".  I'll have to go look at the face and let you know

Well, my custom Rogue ST MAX arrived Friday. YAY!!!! A big "THANK YOU" to customer service manager Luke who helped me get it pushed through and upgraded me to overnight shipping. It turned out perfect, even better than I had imagined (love the red). Had to change the shaft from a RDX Red to Tensei White to get it through faster, but it did not matter as I was going to be using my Ventus Red anyway.

I am loving it so far. SS about 100-105 mph.

I was using the Ventus Red 6s in the PING G425 Max previously and liked it the best of all the shafts I tried in that head, so I figured I would move it over to the Rouge and see how it goes. I was able to tip it a half inch in the Rouge as the Callaway adapter plays longer than the PING and I figured it would tighten it up a little. I have only had the Rouge a week, but so far it feels a little tighter and oh so smooth.

So a 45.25 inch ping driver will play 45.5 in callaway?

Did anyone order their Max at 45" playing length?  If so, what swing weight did yours end up at?  Notice a lot of hot melt in the head? Stock is supposed to be D3, unless custom specc'd.  My fitter is going to cut mine down and re-weight it. I have no idea how I ended up with a full-blown 45.75" driver. I wanted a 45", as that's what I've been using for 10-plus years.

Did something crazy today as I had some extra golf money sitting in my PayPal account.

went on E—ay and bid on a Stealth Driver with the Tour AD XC 7S shaft and won it! At the same time I decided to add another set of irons from a boutique brand New Level and bought the original 623M irons with AMT tour white shafts. Once I get them I will put the driver up against my Speedzone Pars& Stripes driver with the Velocore blue shaft. The irons will be just for some fun as they are unique looking and all forged.

pictures to follow.

Have you demo’d many drivers versus your Pars and Stripes Speedzone?  I’m still loving mine mostly. Hard to imagine anything beats it by too much except maybe in forgiveness. I’m interested in the LTDx and LTDx LS. Maybe would look at Stealth+ and others too.

Round 11 …. It might be an anomaly, but every round I play with the stock Tensei Blue, 10.5* , dialed down one degree, is just fun! Hitting this head is just fun! Muted, forgiving and confidence inspiring. My iron play sucks. My driving? Awesome 😎

Stealth is good, but in the classifieds now.

I have been playing Titleist drivers for several years with heads starting with the 910, 915, 917 and the newest TSI 2 and 3.  I decided on a whim to buy a Rogue ST Max LS 9 degree head recently on the Bay.  I gamed it today after my first drive with TSi3 and find all fairways but one……I was playing a Ventus Black 7 Stiff in the Titleist  and had an older Mitsubishi Ahina 7 Stiff in the LS…… I must say for never hitting this head (range or course) it was pretty impressive………

Just ordered the Rogue Max LS.  I promised myself that my bag was not going to change this year, but we all know how it is.  I had been playing the Epic Max and really enjoyed it.  It was the straightest driver I’ve ever played. I just felt like I wasn’t hitting it as far as I could.  The local sim place that I belong to has fantastic loaner clubs and I’ve spent the past week or two testing the Rogue Max LS loaner on my current shaft vs my Epic Max.  The Rogue has been consistently giving me 10 yards of carry and 3.5 mph of ball speed over the Epic Max.  After 5 sessions and over 100+ shots with each, I’ve convinced myself that the dispersion is basically identical, so I had to pull the trigger.  I’m sure that it is the CG and not the tech and I could have saved $200+ by picking up a Epic Max LS off of the bay, but new and shiny is what we like…

You will not be sorry. This driver head is one of the few I lump into my favorites: 983k, Ping Rapture, 510tp, it’s ridiculously good. Iconic.

I have the Rogue ST Max LS and playing it at 45”. Currently have a bunch of lead tape spread across the sole of the driver, until i can get some hot melt in there. I just cannot play a 45.75” driver (used to play 44.5” slowly added 1/4” over past 2 years), without the ease of the normal weight ports/sliding track it took some trial and error for amount of lead tape. I haven’t seen any heavier weight cartridges being offered, and have heard a lot of stories of Callaway not adjusting for swing weight. This seems like it will keep a fair amount of people from using these Rogue ST drivers. I may go test the triple diamond due to the front weight port, as that’s where a chunk of lead tape is currently sitting.

Has anyone tried the Max 9 degrees set to -1,N,S? My miss is a hook but I don't want to loose much carry at 8 degrees... How would it perform?

No way to tell you the answer to this without seeing your swing and knowing how fast and your AOA.

I doubt many people are turning max heads down to 8 degrees as anyone who plays an 8 degree will be a better ball striker. If a higher handicap 'needs an 8 degree' than there is a swing flaw they need to fix first.

WOW that was fast. Did a custom spec order Monday morning when I posted that - and just got an email that it's out for delivery today.

Callaway website said 2-4 weeks but it was more like 2-4 days!

What are you trying to achieve?  I'm curious.  I have an outside in path of about -1.5 that causes me trouble.

Just a proper swing weight, for years majority of drivers i have used it’s simply using a heavier adjustable weight. My point was these Rogue ST driver are great but they have not come out with aftermarket replacement weights. They also have the safety type screws on the back, so typical wrench that comes with club is not usable. It’s either lead tape or hot melt only.

One thing I will say is my 9 degree head when measured at square is actually 10 degrees. If I were to measure it as it lies it would be closer to stated loft. I haven't measured the -1 setting yet but I bet it's >9° at square. High handicappers can have excessive dynamic loft and many do fit in to lower lofted heads for that reason. In my opinion loft is not handicap specific. It is delivery specific.

Yes but there are is a wide gamut of returns with loft and speed - and as you lower both it diminishes as spin is effected.

So uh Callaway definitely did not SW my club after getting it build -.75" short (45"). I put it on the scale when it got here and it was D2 lol

So much for that. I added 6g of lead tape to the toe anyway which is fine for me to take out some of the draw bias.

My head is also 194g.
