Did you end up trying the 15g weight in the back and no weight in the front?

 

I’m guessing you had to put the weight back in the front after testing?

I’m hoping to get some advice from the club experts in this thread…

 

I currently have a Stealth Plus 10.5 degree driver and I recently took some lessons that has changed my AoA from -2 to +2 to +4. Thus, my driver is launching too high and spinning too much. My instructor turned down the loft to 9*, which improved numbers, but exacerbated my fade shot shape.

 

I realize I probably need to swap my driver head for a standard 9 degree. Until then, I’m trying to mitigate with Sliding or TSS weights. I have 10/15g sliding and 4/6/8/9/13 TSS weights. 
 

Can someone advise on what combination might mitigate the fade bias of the lower loft? FYI, I have a slight toe strike with -4* out-to-in path and I’ve been playing with the 10g weight fully in the heel without much success.

@Valtiel do you have any advice? You seem to be an expert on the effects of these weights.

4* out to in is a bit much and it sounds like your face to path relationship is causing the problem. A sufficiently open face to path will override most of what an adjustable weight can do unfortunately. I would target getting your path down to 2* out to in and swap to the 9* head as mentioned so the open face angle of the 10.5* turned down isn’t adding to the problem.

Thank you! I appreciate the response. I’m going to put some practice time into neutralizing my path and I’ll look for the 9* head in the meantime.
