Best “Value” Headcovers

Who has headcovers that they love, but didn’t pay a fortune for them? Dormie has some awesome ones, but $150-200 for a headcover?

I'm a fan of Pins & Aces and Cayce for putter covers. Both have held up well over 1-2 years of use, and both are reasonably priced (sub $75). 

 

They also both use magnets instead of velcro with prolongs the longevity exponentially in my opinion.

To make my clubs less attractive to potential thieves I have a bunch of old weathered TM Burner covers I use and leave the OEM covers at home for use in storage. Same goes with putters. Generic blank ones only. Retired officer paranoia I guess.

No paranoia.  I would want to have one eye on my bag if I were to use OEM headcovers.

Cayce has already been mentioned.

 

I'd also throw out Reinland Golf Co., or if you like a little more "out there" style, Muni Kids, which are made by Reinland.

 

I have a driver, fairway, and hybrid cover from Muni Kids and really like all 3, though the driver cover can be a pain in the butt to get on the driver if you don't angle it just right. Their putter covers are generally velcro, though, which I'm not a huge fan of.

I've got covers from Pioneer Golf Co on all my woods/hybrid, great stuff love the fabrics used and nice people. They are now making some beautiful leather covers as well. I ordered some through Hurricane golf that were $6 each.  The quality doesn't seem to be terrible and I figured for the price they were worth a  shot.  The resemble the sunfish covers  (the sunfish covers are awesome).

Hole 9 has great stuff, I got a couple of their wood/hybrid covers that are always for sale (not the special release stuff) and the quality is phenomenal.

 

Problem is most of their stuff is special release 'theme' items so if you dont like the theme they probably arent any use to you.

 

I got the greatest headcover I have from them, they made one for the St Louis Blues when they won the Stanley Cup....BEAUTIFUL 😀

I have hand made covers for my Driver, FW and hybrid made for me FREE.  Gotta love that wife.  I even get to order my own design.

Just ordered 1x Driver, 1x Wood cover from rockettour.com. Found them by accident and they ship to my neck of the woods, they’re in Boulder, CO. 

Inhave no affiliation to the college teams some of their covers represent, but they look great. 
I was looking for pom pom style covers, but they have a couple knitted ones without, and some blade putter ones. Loved the sheer number of colorways and they look quality.

Not until the cap issues break up the Lightning. That’s what doomed the Blackhawks who never recovered.

Lol they don’t scare me right now as much as the Avalanche do. Florida I think might struggle in the playoff grind. And obviously Tampa has been there before. They did lose a couple players already so we’ll see. Lol pat maroon just collecting rings at this point.

Being UK based I’ve found clamp golf headcovers to be nice. I was using PRG but the clamp covers are another level for me and it’s roughly £100 for driver, fairway and a hybrid headcover. Only downside is they don’t do putter covers.

Can't comment on the driver ones, but I have a Sunfish on my hybrid and it fits perfectly. My favorite part is that it doesn't seem to get stretched out which I've found to be a major issue in the past with knit headcovers. Still fits as good today (10 months later) as it did the day I bought it.

Naah not retired officer paranoia because you know the facts and have seen them in action. I basically do the same thing even though my stuff is not new. We have a plethora of crack and meth heads here and they will steal anything. They do not know one club from the other.

BTW--- Thank you for your service as a LEO Lord knows we need them now more than ever

UPDATED 6/9/22:

i did end up going for it and purchasing one of their headcovers. i got the bahama though i should have waited a bit since i see its on sale now but still pretty happy with the headcover. fits my taylormade m3 driver pretty well and not struggling to get it off and on.

 

one downside is that they only have driver headcovers right now (as you can see in need of wood, hybrid and putter) though they did say other covers are coming soon. overall pretty happy with purchase and will probably try to get matching covers when available
