hey, i am waiting on a byron 007 MP ,just bought it from a fellow WRX member , and i dont know much about it.. i was wondering if you's can share some of your info on these putters.. and are they worth the money?

any info would be great

Can't tell you if its worth the money or not, as thats entirely dependent on the person answering that question. I will tell you that Byron putters are beautifully crafted, solid, amazing feeling putters. Hope you enjoy your flatstick!

Whats the difference if any in a makers proof and a prototype?

 

Also what's the difference in the 006 and 007 models?

They were the very first 007 putters made. If I remember 9 stainless and 16 carbon,I will have to look at my notes

The Byron 007, IMO, is one of the 2 best flatsticks that one can buy right now (the other being C&L). If you have a proof, it will be more valuable than a standard 007. The majority of 007's are custom made for each person who ordered it. You will love this putter.

The first Byron putter is an 006. The second one with the white headcover is an 007...No drooling.

thanks, yea one of the main reasons i bought it was because of the blue paitfill

 

its got a a black w/ black letters ping grip, (like tigers)

 

 

only problum i have with the putter is it might be to nice to game

Looks Great! I like the BYRON in block letters in the back pocket and the Blue paintfill is a nice touch of class. Is it beached on the bottom (Sound Slot)? Thanks for the photos!

Thats' the black oxide...Flash makes it look a little light....Here's my 006 with the Black Star mist finish...

I have been lucky enought to roll HAIRPIE's 07. You GOTTA Game it!! That putter is made to be played, and you will regret it if you don't.

And personally, I prefer the flanges of the 07 to the 06, and that dark finish is DA' BOMB!!!
