Grip Master vs Best Grips Comparison

I have been using both of these brands for over 10 yrs. I install using air, blue 3M 2" painters tape and a mild Dawn dishwashing soap solution in a spray bottle. I have NEVER had a grip turn on me. I can remove them easily by applying a bit of compressed air and sliding off with ZERO damage to the grip.

 

Process -

Once I have the tape at the proper diameter and my compressor at 60 lbs, I spray 5 shots inside the grip while holding my finger over the hole in the cap, Shake a few times and dump the residue in the trash. I lightly spray the tape on all side and work the mouth of the grip over the end of the shaft. I insert my blow tip in the cap hole and apply bursts of air while applying pressure to slide the grip on. Once it's on all the way, I blow as much remaining soap solution out of the grip to allow it to set up quicker. I can typically swing the club inside of 10 minutes.

They call it Pro Tac.  I am not exactly sure what it is but the grips are tremendous.  I have the same grips on for the past four years and they're still going strong.

If I go standard size Roo will it play like my GP Zcord standard size wise

Yes they play standard size - Word of caution is it is very tough to put extra tape wraps under the grips - the instructions say so and it is absolutely true.

 

I ignored it and put one extra wrap on and it took everything to get it on...

I just put a standard size roo on.  1 layer of build up tape and 1 layer of double sided tape.  Plenty of Bramptons and had no issues getting it on.  I even had plenty of time to adjust the grip to get the seam set just right.
