Is Bryson wearing some new pwradapt cage model?  They look a bit different in the sole and the heel.  Whatever they are they look unreal.

Looks like these are the new Ignite Articulate. Haven’t seen much on them yet, unless I missed something on here.

I think, in Europe, they could buy the ProAdapt Alpha months before we could stateside. Those new kicks look great.

Yah I saw these in my shop the other day and they really caught my eye, but unfortunately didn't have them in white. Looked for them on the Puma site later that day and was confused when I couldn't find anything.

 

Ended up snagging a pair of Alphacat's and they're 🔥. Looks, comfort and on course performance are exceptional.

I love the look of the Alpha's. How is the breathability with them?

 

I've been holding out for the Articulate and Pro SL Sport before buying a new pair but I keep looking back at the Alpha's.

Sunday was the second warmest day of the year here in the PNW at 70º. My friend wearing True Original 1.2's said his feet were hot and sweaty by the 3rd hole. Mine on the other hand felt totally fine. At the end of the round my feet/socks didn't feel much different than they do at the end of a work day (pre-COVID before I worked 100% remote 😆). All in all it was a very comfortable day for my feet and there was zero break in required for me.

That's good to hear. I have Ignite power adapt caged which I really like. But walking through wet grass they were never what I would describe as water resistant.

Another note in comparison to caged, had to go full size up for Alphacat

Just ordered a pair of Articulate 1/2 size down in wide. Hoping they fit properly as it seems their sizes fit big when trying on in stores.

Went to PGASS last weekend and got to finally try on a bunch of new models (Articulate, AlphaCat, FJ Fuel, FJ Pro SL Sport, Nike Infinity Pro 2, Adidas Tour 360 '22). I narrowed it down to the AlphaCat and Fuel and will be picking up one of them this weekend. The Alpha's might be the most comfortable golf shoe I've ever put on. Only concern I had with that one vs the Fuel is that the FJ felt slightly more stable.

I have both.  The AlphaCat’s are very comfortable and kept my feet dry in morning dew.  I will say that if you play earlier enough in the morning where the course may still be wet you might encounter some slipping with the traction on them.  I had this occur to me twice when i was in the rough.  The fuels are also a great shoe, and the first I bought in wide.   I wish i had sized down when i ordered them in wide though.  I haven’t played with these in the morning dew so unsure how their traction would be.  I guess I will just go back to my ZG21s for when it is wet

That’s odd, played in dew and rain, never slipped in Alphacat, but we all move different during the swing.

Yea it really was only maybe once or twice but they are a very comfortable shoe and kept my foot dry the entire time

Just picked these up yesterday. I happened to walk by them and they really caught my eye.  Just walked a morning 9 in these and WOW are they comfortable. They are extremely waterproof and my feet were dry for the whole round. Maybe its placebo, but i felt like i was hitting the ball better wearing these haha. i highly recommend these.

We'll, looks like they fixed the sizing problems of the past in this year's Alphacat & Articulate. Sending mine back as they're a bit snug and going with TTS.

I had to go a full size up from the pwradapt caged to Alphacat

Do the Articulates have fabric as part of the top or sides of the shoe like the PWRADPT does or is the material leather/syn leather/plastic?  I couldn't tell from the pics.

The waterproofing on the the pumas is questionable, my toe wore a hole through the lining on my first pair of Pwradspts and were no longer waterproof, and this was only one season, I reached out to customer service and they let me choose a new pair for free which was great, but the inner lining is questionable, I’m waiting to see if it happens again. But the shoes are very comfortable.

Articulates are great now that Puma has fixed sizing issues. Wore my Boa for 2 rounds last weekend and feet, comfort and functionality were great all around.

Really wanting to pick up a pair of the Alphacats - I typically wear a wide fit shoe, some I can get away with standard width.  Can anyone advise on the fit, should I order them in wide or would the standard suffice.

IMO they're more TTS instead of having to go down 1/2 to 1 size like in the past. They even acknowledge they've fixed the sizing with wording on the box.

I went TTS in Alphacats and in past I needed wide due to a funky right foot. You can always return them if they don't work out.

Have to wear wide in Nike, but stopped buying the crap they put out. TL and Puma can wear normal width, have 3 pair of Alphacat
