For part of a season Ken Jr. and Sr. were playing for the Mariners.  I miss the Mariners of old with the Kid, Buhner, Edgar, and the Big Unit.

On a golf course to me it is just wrong. I am old so I greatly dislike joggers and high top golf shoes too.

I have no problem with hat direction or joggers (in general, they're a little out of place on a course I suppose).  High Top golf shoes are just bizarre but to each his own.

 

Flat brimmed baseball caps (worn in any direction) are my pet peeve. Most look ridiculous though a few can pull them off.

Agree, and let me add the nonsense of leaving the manufacturers stickers on those flat bills. Ugh. That's a look for the court or street, not the golf course. 😄

Right on  jmck.  Jesper was a character. Glad I got to see him compete live a few times. One of a kind that cool Swede was. Do you young golfers know that his dad was considered the Bob Hope of Sweden?  Jesper too was a fine entertainer.

100%. Bosse! A great guy and Jesper is too. One mis-club away from winning a British Open. Love the guy, just hard to see a funny hat thread pop up and not post a picture of him haha.

The older I get the more I wonder "why" about things that aren't practical but seem to have a singular goal of generating attention.  Maybe I'm a grumpy old mad in my mid 50's.

I am 60 and can relate bekgolf. 

 

 We are older and see current day differently from the under 35 'rs I suppose.  Perhaps it's a bigger picture than growling over the clothes on another mans body as a member said above.  Note,  I'm only speaking about hats and attire worn on a golf course when I comment on this thread. We that have been playing for many decades consider a neat appearance kind of important. To us it's a component of golf etiquette. We find this important whether we are at the Muni, the C.C., or a daily fee somewhere in between.

In my mid 50's wonderment stage actions speak the loudest.  I may pre-judge someone over how they appear but at the end of the day actions and consideration rule the day.

 

I will still wonder why but I do my best to treat everyone with the respect I would like to receive.
