Arm Sleeve Warmers

Does anyone use or know why to buy them?

I have heard of these arm sleeve warmers that are made of a licra type of material which you can put on in the morning (chilly times) and easily take off when the temps get warmer. Their perfect when wearing short sleeve shirts. They have got to be snug enough not to slide down during your swing. Has anyone on board use/bought these? Where can you find them and who makes them?

I've done a google search and a search on our site on this topic with no luck.

Nike makes them...I got them at the PGA Superstore. I'm sure Sports Authority or other "big box" stores would have them...

Thanks, I just looked on the nike website and they are call 'pro thermo sleeves'. I'll try sports authority tonight.

Yes I have the nike ones, I bought them at the Presidents Cup last year. Like you said, they work best when wearing a golf shirt. I'm a big fan, they are comfortable and easy to take on or off, plus you can basically leave them in your golf bag all the time.

Newguybri has it dead on. I have them, and also leave them in my golf bag. They are less bulky than a pullover, and quite comfortable. They fit snug on me, and they also have a rubber strip at the top, which will also help hold them up on your biceps. I got mine at my local GolfUSA store. They ran $24.99 I think. Could have been $19.99 at the least. Worth a few bucks for the added flexibility, IMO.

You can also go by any cycle store and they will have a better selection. I also ride a lot and they have been used for a long time in cycling. Pearl Izumi makes some great ones. I would highly recommend using them. Friends laughed at first, but now see the value and use them.

Tribe is right. They have been around in the cycling world for years. Pearl Izumi's are probably the best. Try Colorado Cyclist. I know they have them- even a tattoo pattern!

They are actually made for cyclists, called arm warmers. Go to pearlizumi.com, they make great cycling apparel. They'll have what you want.

I actually just bought a pair last night. I tried them on and was pleasantly suprised with how functional they seem to be. Plus they come in a small pouch that easily fits into a side pocket of your golf bag. I happened to see them at Macy's last night, they're on sale there for $3.99. So if anyone lives in the Atlanta area, they are definately worth the price of a sleeve of balls.

i have a pair from years and years ago for when i was into to competive cycling. i actually wore them on the course before and they worked great. i've also got a pair of leg warmers that i've worn under my khakis on cold mornings, and then can easily take them off when it warms up.

How do you know what size to buy? They (Nikes) come in 4 different sizes.

already used mine this season. still chilly here in NS, Canada. It was 6 degrees here and 40km winds on my 1st round of the year Wednesday. So the sleeves come in handy. I have the white ones by Nike, but am going to pickup the black ones also. Just leave em in your bag!

if you dont have pop eye forearms, they should be roughly similar to your shirt size, I'm medium, medium
