Cobra LTDx Max Black Limited Edition

I just picked up The blackout version which is “simply” beautiful but it was a few months back and it was a 12*. I don’t like clubs that look like someone dropped hot crayons all over the place with a gloss finish. Give me a matte finish with low/ non-glare  woods and I’m there. This is the driver that should have the Stealth name not Cobra. No I did not have to pay the extra money as it will not increase the performance over the standard version. Is it worth the extra money, no is the Stealth worth the extra money NO way.  Will it outperform the Stealth or Rouge models, that all depends on who you ask.  Funny how back a few months ago back in May I wished TM would have came out with a black out edition and they did. Since I started this thread and I now have the Blacked out Stealth Plus driver with a Tour AD IZ6 stiff. I do have a Blue Ventus TR 5R for it also so I'm all set for 2023

 

I played the Limited Edition PTC Radspeed XB last year as it was a serious contender for one of my favorite driver for 2021. Now the LTDx models have so much going for them and all for a cheaper price as I don't care who on tour plays what set of clubs or hit whatever driver as that has a big influence on what people will buy.

 

Cobra has always made some very nice drivers that has always surprised all the other bigger names out there with their performance, Way too flashy bright neon colors too me was a turn off so normally I would avoid them. Well except for the Limited Edition model as I don't think anyone does it better than Cobra when it comes to Limited Edition Driver selections but the Stealth Plus Black out version is by far the best looking and the amazing thing TM and Cobra have going for them is that their performance and feel matches anything else out there and looks along with their shaft selection is premium shafts. What's not to like? Good job to both brands

There's a blacked out lefty head on ebay that I'm considering. Does anyone know what I should expect compared to the Sim2 as far as spin and forgiveness?

I went from sim2 to ltdx ls. I'm hitting ball further, very consistent, haven't gotten into a bay to see my spin #s on cobra, but I'm very happy with the switch.

Unfortunately you can't get the blacked out LS in lefty 😕
