2000's song thread, i mean some of them were good right?

So we have 80's, 90's etc.....We can do the 2000s right? The era when music officially began to die? Boy Bands....Rap becoming R&B, Other Genre's that should have never existed (re: whatever Bubba Sparxxx was)

 

But there WAS good music......Came across this on Spotify the other day and was like, oh right, that sh*t ROCKED

Good music didn't die in the 2000's. Music has only "died" for those that always get their music fix (old and new) from FM commercial radio stations. There is more great, good and bad music available at anytime in history. Not that hard to find new good music today. 🤪

I saw Muse back in 2004 at The Blossom Music Center outside of Akron as part of the Cure's Curiosa festival. They weren't on main stage. The second stage they played on was a stage in a parking lot. Only played a short set but the were freaking fantastic. Here is their setlist. Circumstances since then have not let me see them for a full show. Hope to do so soon. They are criminally underrated.

Also huge fan of the Opeth link. Their song Benighted was the first (and still remains the only) song I learned end to end on guitar
