What golf shorts do you like?

Im not afraid to spend money but haggar golf shorts fit me the best and are easy on the wallet. I have tried adidas, nike, travis matthew, oakley puma, under armour, tgw. Haggar checks all the boxes for me.

I'll chime in since no one has mentioned it yet, but I've bought a few pairs of 7" tech shorts from JCrew.  They have a bit of stretch are nice and lightweight, UPF50 and water resistant.  Decent value when they go on sale, $20-30 range typically.

I agree that the JCrew tech shorts are solid. My only complaint is that they wrinkle easily. They are great shorts for the price.

I just got my Rhone Resort Shorts and I absolutely love them. I got them in the 8in version and I’m going to order more that’s for sure. I have the Rhone Commuter Short and Lululemon Commission and I much prefer the Resort. The material seems slight more lightweight without feeling like a workout short. They were great in the heat this past weekend.

I just wear your run of the mill Walmart cargo shorts. A bit baggy yet comfortable enough for golf, and don't cost an arm and a leg.

 I’ve been recommending them and haven’t seen anyone try yet.  Most stretch I’ve ever found and quite durable.  Love them

Haggar cool 18, reasonably priced, good fit, look fine.

Linksoul is dependent on the climate you live in I believe. I wore mine this past Sunday in humid and hot NC and my wife looked at me on the 7th hole and said “the butt sweat you have going is something special.” The shorts have cotton in them which really collects moisture and shows it when you ride in a cart.

Although I'm always looking for shorts with an 8 in inseam (most companies don't make them) the thing that has always held me back from buying these is the red XXX stitching on the side and the single back pocket.

 

I just feel like they tried to make them too "technical"... Is it too much to ask to just make a traditional pair of shorts in an 8 in inseam!?!?

I am with you on the Faherty shorts. I wear the All Days both on and off the course. They have a good stretch, come in different lengths and like you said lifetime guarantee

Received my LinkSoul Boardwalker shorts today. I like the style, but I’m disappointed with the quality control. Three pairs that were the same size all fit differently. I also got a pair of the AC shorts and liked the softer feel of them, but the fit was quite slim in the leg. I will probably keep the one pair that fit the best.

Been wearing 32 degrees shorts for the last two seasons, probably have six+ pairs accumulated at this point. They fit and feel great and the pricing is absurd compared to everything else out there.

Bonobos, been wearing them since they were "maide".  They have an 8 inch inseam option, as to where I'm not looking like I'm going to skateboarding.. and still long enough to not look like I'm trying to be hip, like patagoina shorty shorts. I'm 5 11' 185ish.

Just an FYI most of the under armour iso chill golf shorts are on sale right now. They are awesome and the 9” length is perfect. I have about 10 pairs.

ordered and wore the rhone resort for first time yesterday... walked 18 in the miserable Texas heat and they held up great.  my favorite shorts so far, beating out lulu, bonobos, birdogs and vineyard vines.  super lightweight + stretchy, but look like nice chinos.  also they don't get dirty.  ordering a bunch more, thanks for the recs

Yeah, I need two back pockets.. I mean I loathe cargo shorts, but don't be anti pockets.  That back left pocket is supposed to be there.

I thought no back left pocket was weird at first too but immediately forgot about it. Glove goes back right anyway. The comfort and fit on these are incredible. Try them and return if not for you. I just ordered a few more

I have to throw a can of dip somewhere before I throw it in a cart.. I'd feel like a bit more red if I had to throw it in a front pocket. 

 

I did just check them out though, the 7 inch commuter has two backs, unless I'm looking at something wrong. I'll try to order a pair, thanks.

Just curious.  What in the heck are people carrying with them on the golf course that requires so many pockets?   I  mean you need a ball, maybe 1 tee, a ball marker and then a place to stick your glove (if you even wear one.  Maybe I'm missing out on something?

Look, I think I said in my Initial review, I missed the back left pocket.   I just prefer the look.   That said, not sure I have ever used it, in any pair of pants/shorts

I like backs because I don't care to throw anything of size up front. It makes me feel sloppy. Usually a tee or two in my front left, front right is two dimes, back right is a wallet, most of the time it's out though.. it's not full Costanza, but in the summer in South Carolina I feel like it's distasteful to hand someone wet money, back left is a can of dip.. it's in there from car, to practice until I hit the first tee shot.
