Fortunate to be in Vail for a few days and would really appreciate a chance to play one of the spectacular private clubs in the area and would be most grateful if anyone is inclined to help me accomplish that. 

 

About me:

• 7.4 from Texas
• Will not embarass you
• Go with the flow - I'm happy to play in an intense competitive group / money game  or just have a relaxed social round
• Good at "reading the room" and very capable of adding to the conversation or keeping my mouth shut 
• Love to have a beer or two after the round - less so during it
• Will NOT play music but will happily listen to yours
• Can get on most all of the private clubs in Houston and would be happy to reciprocate

Call red sky. They used to do a member course then a guest course and would switch daily. Don't know if they do it like that anymore though

Sonnenalp is my least favorite course in the valley. A few good holes but most are just in a neighborhood with houses right off the fairway. I would also put Frost Creek on your list. Have your pro call I think most have some times set aside for unaccompanied play although the rate is ridiculous. We played Red Sky that way last year and it was over 300.
