Scottsdale (area) October Overseeding Question

Considering a trip to the area in Oct 20th 36, 21st 36, 22nd 18 and the dates are not flexible. We're running into some challenges with overseeding schedules. It was explained to me that courses without bent grass greens will overseed the greens and they take time before they can mow them to relatively normal speed (~10). Does anyone know if any of the higher quality courses (no budget) overseed earlier than most and/or have bent greens that will be in good shape by those dates?

... I am not aware of any bent greens here in Phoenix. But the bermuda fairways are usually sketchy right after over seeding and some bermuda greens are better than others. Here is a schedule for overseeing this fall:

I am told Troon has bent greens and they don't overseed the greens.

... Good catch, I have never played Troon North and they are one of the few courses around here that have bent greens.

Quintero has bent grass greens. According to the schedule above they will re-open a week prior to your schedule. Not too many other courses nearby to pair up for your 36-hole days. Definitely worth the drive west, especially since you have "no budget". 😉

Troon north does not overseed the greens and will be fast. My father and uncle came out last year around that time. They played Troon North the first day and said the greens were so fast but played one of the JW courses the day after and the greens were so slow. However, both courses were cart path only from the overseed of the fairways.
