I don't foresee much changing in my bag this year, maybe......maybe.....maybe another hybrid, so if I could just "dream a little dream" and my wife said, "Here's $3000 for new equipment this year.!" Hey....I said was dreaming! :) :ok: ;)

I'll have a set of Cobra Greg Norman blades please. The Japan-issue ones with 'Tour' on the hosel. Always wanted a set but never bought any. I missed a chance to buy a beautiful 2-PW set from House of Forged a few years back when the required monies were diverted to the Engagement Ring Fund. Bah...

 

If there's anything left I'll trawl the classifieds for a nice set of Mizuno MP33s or some TP19s and send them off to the Iron Factory to be fettled back to looking brand new.

 

Again, I've never owned a set of 33s and the TP19s are the one set of irons I bought and regret selling in haste. I've only bought 11 sets in 22 years, but they're the ones I regret getting rid of. In fact, they're the only ones I've got rid of along with some Titleist 680s.

Stamping is the best part about these putters. So here is what I would go with.

Sole: @ the toe 350MILLED (that's because can't do anything else because of the F.F.)

On the face the C&L logo on the toe & upside down.

In the Cavity the C&L logo with half a maple leaf on each side.

C.N.D on right bumper and LEFTY on the left bumper

All Paint fill in white but the two half maple leafs in Red.

Looks like you like the nike square fairway and hybrid, You should try the Sumo 5900 with the shaft you have in your dream L4V. Nike also makes the Sumo 5900 in 11.5.

I just added the Redwood Anser (Black Satin) and the G10 4wood.

Pretty sure I'm gonna upgrade new irons from the S59 to the Bridgestones. Probaly the 3-6 cavity and 7-pw blades and the new Vokey TVR wedges. Does anybody know when the new Vokeys will become available?

I think you're pretty much pushing the technology envelope for 2008 with this set. Sure, you could get more expensive and fill out that 3 grand a little better, but I don't see it helping someone's ball flight more than these will. A better player might want to change the lofts, and a player who struggles with irons might want to remove the 'TP' from the R7 set, but I think this is a really solid set for a wide range of players.
