I checked out the live coverage on the LIV golf site, it’s on YouTube as well?

 

I think the coverage is 1,000 times better than the pga tour. It’s funny how bad the pga tour live coverage is compared to this.

no commercials but not just that. Camera work is so much better, commentators are better. Can actually hear player/caddy interaction. Pga tour could learn a lot from it tbh.

Ridicule the amount of viewers on one of several platforms to watch it?  Check.

Shorts jab after PGAT and DPTW allows shorts in practice and pro-ams?  Check.

The "this looks like the local chamber of commerce scramble" dig?  Check.

 

I got no idea what the last bit is about.

 

We get it.  LIV isn't for you and a handful of others.  At the risk of getting myself banned for calling into question the moderation around here, the PGAT event posts very quickly get the "No LIV Discussion" blurb and rarely get shut down due to such.  The LIV event and discussion threads on the other hand are rife with LIV rabble rousing to the point where it is just not enjoyable to come here and read them.

 

Golf is golf to me.  It is guys hitting golf shots on a golf course.  All I really care about.  I come here to talk/read about the golf and the golf course.

I grew up in Geneva on the Fox river.  My brother still lives there.  Growing up, the end of my street was where the suburbs literally ended and cornfields began-  10 minutes from this course.

 

I now live 2.5 hours away, and have tickets for Sunday.  It should be an interesting experience......  It's a no-cash event, and your ticket can't be printed out on paper.  Since when does a digital QR code not work on paper??  Seems silly, but we'll see.  I'm curious what the turnout will be, and if any protesters will show up.

Agreed 100%......I'm just waiting for them to get another top ten player before I tune in. I can't wait for pay per view. I know it will be massive subscriptions.
