That’s kind of crappy. For more than you can get them for at CPO? Is there a way to tell it’s a CPO club?

I mean if it has the plastic on it i don't see the issue here - its on the buyer to do their own Due diligence on what the best price is for a new club. You also dont know how long the seller has had the item in their possession - they maybe have bought in like new condition for a far higher price than whatever the price is on the day you check

The  “like new” label is whats interesting. Wrapped in plastic is baloney.

I'm a long time CPO customer who has purchased a number of items over the last several years, and who has recommended the site to several people.  While I have generally been pleased with the quality of the clubs and the speed at which they ship clubs out, I am not pleased with their current turn-around time to process returns and trade-ins.  I returned a club, which they received on February 12.  As of today, a full month later, I still have not received my gift card.   

 

I emailed customer service asking for an update and they responded by confirming that they received the club, and basically saying I will receive an email letting me know when the return is processed.  

 

I'm not sure why that part of their business has gone steadily downhill, but I'm certainly not impressed.

I ordered my first club in a long time - probably since last November - today.

 

Picked up an ai smoke 4 wood (3HL) for like $135 in like new. Screaming deal imo.

 

They also had paradym from 2 cycles ago for $125 like new but i figured for a 10$ difference I'd grab the new one.

It was taking 2 months at one point last year.  Not sure what's going on there but they will eventually process it.  I agree that it's not a good look for them.

I game this club and it’s a bomber.  Super fast and also forgiving.

The word is that they do, but the inventory move has completely messed up their inventory of said shafts so they are re-assessing and no timeline until they return on the site.

I noticed today that the trade-in time has risen from 15-20 business days to 20-25 business days.  Prob due to the 50% trade bonus on Elyte clubs on the "new" Callaway site.

It helps that their trade in prices are typically more than you'd get anywhere else.  But it's certainly frustrating to wait that long.  If I were in your shoes, I'd call and ask them to give me the 150% values that they're currently offering.

I find that second swing has better trade values.

Ordered a LH 3 wood and received a RH 3 wood.  Maybe they could consider hiring warehouse workers that can read for comprehension or at least make an "L" with their fingers to double check before shipping.

Warehouse/fulfillment work is garbage across all industries.

 

Fanatics which is a huge sportswear company has similar issues. They pay and internal issues aside, heres a story I heard once showing how bad minimum wage warehouse fulfilment is:

 

Worker A: *puts packers jersey into a box*

Worker B: "Hey you know thats a green packers jersey, and the customer ordered a red commanders jersey, right?"

Worker A: "Thats their problem for customer service!"

I also made excuses for CPO too not that long ago because I used them a lot in the past and they always treated me well. This is becoming a major problem though. The wrong handed clubs being sent seems to be a common thing lately. The packaging issues have gotten real bad too.

 

Yea, they moved warehouses a little while ago and I can understand some issues coming from that. How long does it take to get your act back together as a company though? For a company that did so well and was pretty much widely praised, how do you fall so far that quickly? If it was great before then it should have been easy to get right back in line with your typical quality of service.

Agreed. The sending out clubs without packing materials is inexcusable. This has got to be costing CPO a lot of money.

I got a club from CPO today and it was loose-packed in the new oversize boxes with some packing paper, but none of it really on the head.

 

The universal HC was in the box but uninstalled.

 

Luckily it was only one club and not two, I guess.

Sadly it's been that way forever

I stopped ordering multiple clubs a long time ago.

My customer rep automatically puts in separate orders for me now lol.

How you can't tell folks packing to put the headcover on is beyond me.  No matter the familiarity with golf clubs, it's pretty self explanatory.
