Maybe I'm just picky, or is CPO getting a little more lax on the ratings?  Received a "Like New" Toulon Madison today.  Seems to have many more scratches and dings here and there than I was expecting.  And generic head cover too which is disappointing...checking on ebay, the matching 2022 covers are going for like $50-$60 shipped.

Yikes. That's nowhere near like new. I could see it being "Very Good". And the headcover to top it off? I'd send it back. I thought CPO was known for clubs beings way above the rating.

Agreed not like new but CPO doesn't give any gruff when you call and are polite to them. Price adjustments/swapping out no questions asked.

 

I have had more clubs come from them better then rated then worse then rated personally (I'm afraid to try to quantify exactly how many clubs that is 😄 )

First time I think I've ever bought a putter without having much of a clue of what it is. CPO listed some "Odyssey Milled Collection RSX Big T Blade CH" putters in "Like New" condition. I can't find much of anything in Googling this thing. Only a couple of old listings for a prototype/tour only release. I'm assuming this was never released to the public. I love the Big T alignment, so yeah, worth a shot:

Tbh this is a crazy amount of downtime and now the main callaway website for north america is down...this smells like a ransomware or other malicious attack on Callaway that theyre not publicizing. Stuff like this is absolutely not supposed to happen during routine maintenance as Callaway is losing probably millions of dollars right now during a new product launch and not having any digital presence.

Agreed. A company Callaway's size should be measuring annual downtime in minutes, maybe hours. But not days.

I'm guessing they're under some massive DDOS/ransomware attack. Callaway attached this message to a marketing email this morning:

 

"We are currently not accepting orders and our call center is unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Please check back soon – we'll be up and running in no time!"

Aside from CPO, I've been waiting weeks for my credit (in gift cards) to show up for some new Callaway orders I had hit and returned. No gift cards, and no way to contact them either.  Can't order new goodies until I get those gift cards.

 

Not a great look, and hope they are back soon.

They sent me a return shipping label right before they went down and when I click the link in the email I can’t get the label.

I didn't notice it being down.  I check every day for a specific wedge and single iron hoping they will get them in stock and kicking myself for having one of each in my shopping cart but not pulling the trigger.  They didn't reserve it for two weeks like the webpage led me to believe.

Absolutely insane for a company as large as Callaway.

 

The Ogio website seems to be effected as well - but not the TopGolf website - thankfully for them.

 

Whatever the attack on Callaway was, it got into their retail web sales system completely.

 

I'm surprised no information has leaked out yet about this at all. They have to be losing money hand over fist at this point.

I just tried from an IP in Seattle with no luck. Maybe clear the site cache/cookies and see if it's still open to you.

They may have moved to new servers with a backup and it takes time for DNS to propogate for others after you - or you're seeing an old version of the site and/or the splash page in black that lays over the site is not displaying for you for some reason.
