Srixon ZX MKII Irons

I just ordered a set of ZX7's and can't wait to get em... I am very excited... been looking at Srixon irons for a few years now.

I am assuming he ordered the current or version 1.  You can custom order the current versions still at a reduced price right now!  I have a set of ZX5's on the way with DG 105's.  Can't wait!!

that is correct... the V1 ZX7's are the best looking iron on the market right now IMO

well my V1 ZX7's arrived and hit them in the sim tonight... shot 76 from the tips at Spanish Bay and aced the 4th hole from 182 with a 6 iron... most important though is the super soft feel and surprisingly higher amount of forgiveness that I wasn't expecting... however I sincerely welcome lol. The real performer so far though is the ZX 3 utility iron... hard to believe I will ever hit the 3 hybrid well enough to replace that 3 iron... its long and accurate.

ordered the V1 ZX7's through Srixon directly. Played Gen 4 PXG Tour irons and TM Tiger irons prior... and a long list of other before that... initial thought is that the ZX7's may end up being the best I have ever gamed.

The blade lengths for each model and 4, 7, PW are shown in the upper right corner of this pic.

Yes, the 4 is longer compared to the 5 model in each of the irons.

7iron:  5 = 785 mm;  4 = 809 mm

Feel like Srixon is once again flying under the radar while people fawn over the big name brands. Hearing they might be released next week. If not then the week after for sure. Anyone here have more info on them yet?

I ordered a set yesterday. Fitter said January 20th but not sure if that’s the release or ship date.

I hit the original ZX5 and I have hit the ZX7 as well. Not sure why but I preferred the ZX5 and got better launch and dispersion numbers with the ZX5. Coming from MP32s, I would’ve thought the ZX7 would be a better fit but ZX5 just seemed to click with me.

Nope, no adjustments. I can always have them bent if needed but wanted to give them a go. It’ll be a massive adjustment considering my MP32 7 iron had moved to 35.75 degrees.

I talked to my club pro today as I'm thinking about getting ZX7 irons with softer shafts. I saw that ZX7 V1 is much cheaper than ZX7 MKII so I might go that route.

Cobra is the dark horse that is coming more and more formidable as the years go on but Srixon is the stealth bomber providing year on year without much commentary. Especially here in Australia, the value for money that you get in comparison to other brands is unbeatable. 4-PW in a custom order set with a golf retailer in Australia will set you back $987.96 USD currently (on sale).
