How frequent do you play golf?

It’s day 105 of the year and I have played 23 rounds.   So I guess I play a round about every 4.56 days.

In my early retirement days I would easily play over 100 rounds a year.  These days not so much with the aches and pains that aging has brought me.  Still getting in range time several days a week, but actual on-course time might only be the six or seven holes at that my back/body allows when I do go out.  
 

Fortunately, a half hour on the range, and maybe another in the short game area, is usually enough to scratch my golfing itch.

Twice a week on average.  When my brother and sister come to town during the holidays I get more rounds in because that's how my family bonds.  My wife says that I would play golf everyday if I could and she ain't wrong.  I'm sooooo looking forward to retirement so I can do that.  Well, maybe 5 days as week so I don't piss her off, lol.

Round three today for this week.  Still got another one for sure and possibly two.  Retirement and membership is wonderful.  160 so far for the year.  Making up for the 10 years prior to retiring when I played not at all.

During the summer, I play minimum three times a week: Tuesday is our men's night, and then early mornings both Saturday and Sunday. Then I probably sneak one more in there somewhere, even if its a 9 holer Friday night with the wife. During winter, I try to get away at least once, most of the time twice and typically get another 10 to 20 rounds in that way. I will get in 100 to 120 rounds per calendar year. Not bad for still working full time. Hopefully over the next couple of years I can slow down at work and play a bit more.

Unfortunately, I didn't get out to play as much this year after starting back. For now, though, I've got to spend time on other things whilst practicing with the new net in the back yard.

I'd like to play twice a week on average, but can't justify that unfortunately.

I usually play nine holes 3 days a week after work, and then at least one day on the weekend. I'm in Maryland so daylight savings time usually only allows that from March through October.

Happy Halloween! I played my 173rd round of the year today. Living in New England, our golf season starts in April and ends around the third week of November. We’ve had a very dry fall. I have played 29-days in the month of October. In general, I play four or five days each week, so this month has been a bonus. The weather dictates my play. Retirement is fantastic!

I've gone from 3x a week minimum to zero rounds since November.  I'm sure it will come back at some point but right now I'm too sore and tired, older age and issues all along my spine, hips, and feet are overcoming the joy of golf, IE it hurts too much.  Hopefully it's temporary but for now I'd rather sleep in than to get up and go out with the club.

I've just retired and while the goal was to play more, I haven't had the chance or ability to.  Just finished moving my parents into assisted living and followed that with a cortisone shot in my right shoulder (prior lingering impingement).  I get bad cortisone flare and a week later it still hurts.  Maybe in another week I'll be able to hit some balls without pain.  Meanwhile it's almost June and I've played 9 holes.  After that, I should be good to go after I get a refresher lesson.

Having just returned from Bandon Dunes where we played 36 holes the 1st day, 18 the second, 36 the 3rd day and both par 3 courses the 4th day.
