I have a Rhoback hoodie and I absolutely love it.  Pricing on it seemed in line with other brands for that level of quality.  Ill probably buy another one because of how much I like it.  

 

However, I have one polo shirt from them and I just don't care for it at all.  I don't like the cut and I don't like their collar design (even though it seems that's what most people love about their shirts).  For me it just doesn't work.  Im not a fan of the material Rhoback uses.  There's something about it that just doesn't feel right to me.  Even though it feels cheaper, I like the material of the Bad Birdie shirts more.  Rhoback polos are in that Greyson price range and for me the quality of Greyson's materials are just so much better.

Their hoodies are amazing.

 

I got a polo too but haven’t tried it on the course yet. The material seems pretty good, lightweight with good stretch.

I like Greyson Polos because they actually do some cool prints, put out a lot of designs throughout the year, use different materials and do cool collars etc. I am willing to pay for a polo I like, and they fit me as a more slender guy, but I agree that everything else they have is over priced and, generally the polos are probably overpriced. 

 

Why anyone would buy travis matthews is beyond me but somehow these companies do well enough to stay in business. Rhoback does so much marketing on social media they must spend a lot of dough on that...at least always discount codes. One other thing I am sure many people do not care about, but the Rhoback logo is so awful I have no idea why I would want some dog logo on my polo...on the Canadian site the pricing is stupid. $131 for a basic polo...

It seems like they sponsor a ton of random influencer/comedy guys on Instagram whether they are golfers or not.

That’s they’re vision?  I’m trying to understand who they are and why should I buy a hat.  I like the logo but what are they doing?   What are they all about?   Saw I video online I guess it was owner.  I honestly couldn’t make heads or tails as to what exactly their vision is and how they are tied to golf and why should I spend my money on them?   I mean if you want to tell me that you’re tied into some veterans group or cancer society research fine I’m all in, but I’m not seeing any of that with them.  What am I missing here?

Not entirely sure but I think their vision is to sell clothes

Check consignment shops near wealthier neighborhoods. I’ve found Rhoback polos in a Hilton Head consignment shop for $30 each. Yes they’re second hand but these shirts look like they’ve been worn only once, if at all.

Just got my first Rhoback hoodie.  Gotta say not impressed, with the fabric or the shape/fit.  I think it’ll probably make it to the Goodwill pile soon.

I’ve been buying Rhoback second hand on eBay / most are “NWT” or slightly worn and feel much better paying ~ $30 per polo and quarter zip than the full sticker.

That was my experience as well. I bought a hoodie and polo because of the rave reviews. I returned the polo immediately as it was paper thin with an oddly stiff collar and just seemed very poor quality. I kept the hoodie, but after only a couple of washes it pilled all over and looked terrible. The shape/fit of the polo was odd as well.

The material is very soft, like a brushed cotton, but that’s what it feels like - an old heavy cotton hoodie, not a modern fabric hoodie that you’d wear to play golf or work out.  I wouldn’t have been surprised if I’d looked at the tag and it said Made by Snuggie.  That said, I’ve discovered its intended use.  Sitting on the couch in sweats on a rainy Sunday watching hockey.

Curious, which one did you buy? I wouldn't describe it as "brushed cotton". I've had the opposite experience with their hoodies - yes, overpriced, but very comfortable and not-restrictive at all with a golf swing. It's perfect for a casual 55 degree day. What's a "modern fabric hoodie" that you like better for golf?

 

Edit: Personally, I think the Greyson Cokato is my favorite material I've found but can't stand the look or feel of the turtleneck-like design on the front, so returned it immediately. If they had that hoodie with a normal neck, I'd buy those exclusively.

I got the Hesi, which I think is their most popular. It just feels like an old timey, heavy hoodie to me.

 

My go to hoodie is the Footjoy Tempo Sun Hoodie.

To each their own, but that's an odd description to me.  Their hoodies are the lights I own.  I stayed away from cotton hooded sweatshirts for a really long time for that reason but these are as light as they get.  Are you sure you didn't get the Huddle that has a pocket in the front?
