The lid will soon come off some more stuff from Callaway that will certainly cause some sideways looks and head scratching. Giving me some really unpleasant flashbacks to when I got into the fitting game with TaylorMade just in time for the abominations that were R1, RBZ Stage 2, SLDR, JetSpeed, RocketBladez, and ATV wedges.

I actually think there is more difference than what JW makes it out to be. I think it is Callaway's attempt to downplay the situation more often then not. I do think that for 99% of the population that the tour heads likely are not really necessary to even think about, but imo this is similar to the ball debate and the stance it is cool that amateur's can play the same clubs as pros (granted may need more loft or a different shaft, etc.).

She’s totally dialed in now.  Playing 1” short at 44.75”.  14g weight in back and 9g weight up front.  D4 swing weight.  Amazing.

For me, yes. The Rogue was to low of spin for me last year with the shaft I like (HZRDUS Blue Smoke PVD).  I used the LS instead.
The 💎 💎 💎 this year is better in my opinion. It is more forgiving and by changing the weight configuration which is different than the weights that comes with it. I have mine dialed in. I really like it.

Yeah I have the Rogue in 10.5* and it launches and spins lower than any other 10.5* I've ever played. It's very very straight though, I actually had to get used to how much less curve it tends to generate compared to my Cobra driver. My only gripe has been ball speed on slightly toey hits... It really drops off, it does twist a bit in the hands.

What weights do you have? Mine I think is currently 14 in back 2 in front.

Had the TSR3 before the TD. To me the TD is more forgiving, slightly lower spin and faster. Liked the TSR3, but love the TD

Had a chance to hit my Paradym on my Bushnell Launch Pro in my garage.

 

The thing is pretty low spin. 2200ish on a good strike at 95mph (i'm swinging slow right now, need to get the speed up a bit). 1900 on the toey strike. Might loft up a bit from 10.5.

 

Need to change the shaft though. Was fit into Kaili white 70 gram, which worked well in the fitting, but 70 is too heavy for me in a driver. Going to try Kaili white in 60 grams.

Does launch pro give low spin on drivers? When I hit on gc quad I always get super low spin with drivers. usually 500-700 lower than normal.

i dont think so. what i have heard is that the Foresight launch monitors (including BLP) overstate distance when you hit really low spin shots.

I have settled into a 14g front, 7g back, plus 1 loft setting with my 8.0 TD head and TR Black 6X. Getting a really nice, higher flight with it but keeping spin in check. Absolutely love the feel with the heavier weight forward as well.

Did you ever play OG Ventus Black? If so, how would you describe the differences between it and TR Black? Cheers

Very similar to me honestly. Main deciding factor was that the TR handled my biggest swing flaw - quick/aggressive transition - a little better in terms of dispersion. TR also spun a touch less and seemed to get out there a few more yards for me, which never hurts haha.
