Am I looking at this correctly?  He has a 16.5* FW at 18* and the 21* FW at 22.5*?

Close, but no cigar haha... you went the wrong way. Since it's on C1 setting, it's -0.75* in loft and + 0.75* flatter (most fade setting for RH).

So if by "close" you mean "as far in the wrong direction as you can be on the Titleist adaptor". 😅

No worries, it’s actually surprising how often some pros play really high lofted 3w/4w these days. Ryan Fox had a SIM 5w lofted down as his only fairway, and Hovland had a SIM 16.5 lofted way up close to 18*.

I think he is the one of the few guys on tour using the $-Taper. I sure do love how that shaft plays.

You were maybe looking at the LH chart.

I use different grips for my wedges than the rest of my clubs. I'll always use lamkin crosslines on my wedges, and probably always use the golf pride MCC for everything else.
