Putter Fitting Today at PGA SS

Went to get my putters checked today and wanted to see how I did with my latest 2 gamers:

- Scotty Cameron 2022 Phantom X 5.5 34"

- Evnroll ER2 Black 34"

 

What we found out was that I actually needed something with the best of both worlds, the fang/wing style of the Phantom 5.5 and the weight, face, and feel of the ER2. He gave me an Evnroll ER5 Hatchback to try (in black) and it was exactly the combination of both of those 2 putters. I was hitting all my lines and my speed control was through the roof. I tried a bunch of other different putters including the Spider and some others and just preferred the feel of the Evnroll ER5 to all of them. 

 

Interesting results but I am all for it.

Yes, he used Sam PuttLab, also gave me the results for both my Scotty and the ER2. The fitter was good. I think the fitter is just as important as the fitting equipment and spit out of the results.

PGA Superstore in Fairfax, VA with Erick. I would recommend him as a fitter, very knowledgeable.

I’m going to be doing a few fittings here soon since I’m local. Glad to know Erick is who I should ask for! At least putter wise.

I know Erick personally. He's a really good dude that will work his behind off and go through all the resources available to do a great job for any customer.

That’s fantastic to hear, I see he does all different fittings. I’ll be there after Christmas for a gaping with my new irons and get fit for new wedges to fit those new gaps. Really excited!
