I can hear the forum poser heads popping from how upright his 3 wood is set up.

FP: "I need my fairways at 55* or flatter to keep them from going left. That's what all great players want and do."

What exactly does he have the 3 and 5 woods set on loft/lie wise. I’m not crazy familiar with the TM adapter setting. Thanks.

Can't say with certainty because don't know which adapters (1*, 1.5*, or 2*) he's using or what the static measure of the heads themselves are. I do know that TM's fairways trend on the more upright end of the spectrum, and then he's got it set up even more upright on the adapter. But again, can't say for sure without measuring.

It's just funny to point out how wrong the WRX forum conventional "wisdom" is and how often that is the case.

Looks like the standard setting is at 180D to normal giving standard loft but upright lie, more of less as indicated by the poster above. I wouldn’t have thought someone of Tiger’s height would have issues with that.

Yeah it's almost as if it should be fitted to the swing and not to correct one that produces crappy snap hooks 😆

Important to also note that like many, Tiger plays his fairways shorter than stock by a decent amount. Adjusting the woods upright would offset the flattening this would create.

The tour guys are more often using the 1.5* sleeve for finer adjustment since it basically gives you 1* face angle adjustment per click as opposed to 1.5* for the 2* sleeve, but yeah we don't know for sure and it could be any of them. What we do know based on previous specs is that Tiger prefers a face angle around 2-3* open in his woods and all these adjustments opening 1-2* lines up with that assuming slightly open stock face angles.

He played the Sasquatch 5 wood for 5+ years so it wouldn’t surprise me if the M3 stays in there for a while longer. Outside of the putter it’s pretty much the last thing he changes.

I believe he plays weak lofted clubs by modern standards.  His PW last I remember comes in at 50.   Makes it a little easier to do that with his lofts.

Yeah I was just being sarcastic haha. I also presumed with how much he talks about feeling shots and such that he is incredibly comfortable taking yardage off with his PW if needed.

Are these Artisan-made MG3 wedges?  Numbers/letters on the hosels looks the same as when you order an Artisan wedge. 🧐

Most Likely......Yes

But, The grind is the same as you would get w the TM retail product.
