Just got the email about this from Dream Golf and somehow had missed this entirely!

I completely forgot about this project. I'm excited we'll have another top notch course that won't be far. I've played Ballyneal a handful of times and love it out there. Sounds like this will be on similar land

Well, places up north, could lose travelers who come into (or start in) Denver who would head to this new facility and continue to some

of the points east which are so good.

 

there is nothing like a keiser  type facility, especially close to Denver. 
I just believe this place will draw the serious or architecture inspired golf customer not just for “a look” but with likely a good recapture rate for golfers

The first 2 course are being built currently. Read an article in Avid Golfer yesterday that says late 2024 early 2025. They are not sure which in will open first but both should be by spring next year.

Well they are not against it for sure. I think build what works best for the land. But it does seem to be a call g card. Interesting that Doak did it and now Coore/ Crenshaw

Yeah, I don't have any problems with it. The back-to-back par 3's at PD were fun and it's a nice little change of pace.

 

Looking over the routing, looks like it'll be a par 72. When looking it over the first time, and just going off first glance, I came up with 73, but I doubt that's the case. I originally counted the 3rd hole as a par 5, 503 yards, but it seems like it is going to be a beefy par 4, perhaps downhill? Elevation will obviously play a factor too and maybe the yards on the routing are from the furthest back the tees will be? See a couple short par 4's, the 328 yard 6th and 317 yard 17th, those should be fun. Went out to Bandon last September and can't wait to go back. Would love to make a trip to RD, but will probably wait until they have more than two courses.
