UST Mamiya All-In Vs. BGT Stability Putter Shafts

I’m starting to see this UST stability shaft pop up and was wondering if anyone had any experience with both shafts or just the UST all in shaft. 
 

Not much information out there about the UST stability shaft and they seem tough to find, but at a price point of $100. They’re a little cheaper than the BGT option

How do you like it? And if you have any experience with the BGT, how does it compare?

Love my all graphite all in. Fantastic shaft. Some say similar to the LA but I’ve never hit any other variants besides the stroke lab. IMO beats the stroke lab especially on long putts. It is CBd though so I had to add lead tape to the head.

The stability shaft is much more stout than the All in. A lot more feedback to it as well. If you want an LA golf shaft at 1/4th the price the All in is a great option.

This is similar to how I felt, between the All-In and the Stability

I just put an All-In on my Matera. I have the Frequency-Filtered on my Cottonwood II and the All-In is noticeably firmer. Also, for $120 total (taxes and shipping), it’s an insane value. There’s three different models depending on the neck of the putter, though the weight differs a bit for each. Very tempted to put the all-graphite model on something. Also, it’s not helping much this time of year but the shaft arrived really quickly. My wife assumed I bought it off Amazon Prime.

Does anyone know the exact measurement for the internal diameter of the ALL-IN shaft? I'd like to see if it's possible to add a weight to counterbalance the shaft. The outside diameter is listed as .600, but the ID isn't listed anywhere I've seen. I noticed that the inside of the shaft is said to be too narrow to fit a SuperStroke CounterCore weight, but I'm wondering if it would be large enough to fit a TourLock weight.

The lower priced options are very good now. The All-In is about $99 for the players that like a little softer feel and the Mitsubishi MMT putter is also $99 for someone that likes considerably firmer.

My uncut All In shaft measures 0.430" ID on the grip end

No space for tip weights. I don’t know the ID but it was too small for all my .335 weights

You could use lead powder or tungsten powder.

Thanks for the info on the inside diameter of the ALL-IN shaft at the grip end. I eventually got a response from UST that the ID is 11.48 mm or 0.452". From what I could find out, the only standard counterweight that would fit a shaft this narrow is the Tour Lock Pro+ Slim, which is .430" in diameter. SuperStroke's CounterCore weights are too large to fit, although the TL Pro+ Slim will fit through the Techport found in many SuperStroke grips (or you can cut an opening in the grip cap of other brand grips). If you have removeable weights in the putter head, the use of the TL Pro+ Slim should allow for perfect balancing of head weight, swing weight, and total weight of the putter.

Superstroke Countercore weights will fit in the All In shaft.  The measurements provided for the weight diameter on Golfworks is the foam part of the weight, which compresses easily enough to fit inside the All In. It is snug in the shaft but not crazy tight.

My non-scientific test of balancing the different options on my fingers tells me that the all graphite has a higher balance point than the steel options.

 

haven't had a chance to game the All-In putter shaft, just putting at home. Need it to see the course to check distance control.

I needed about +10g to rebalance my putter with the all in installed

I went back to the CT Tour. That weight difference was annoying me as I didnt like the lead tape on the bottom.

 

That aside its a great shaft and probably the best of the graphite putter shafts.

The USTs look very much alike the M16 from PXG and the StrokeLab from Odyssey. Seems like a "skinny" version of BGT

To those that have the all graphite version...do the graphics go all the way around or is there a way to line it up so that the shaft is just solid black from address?

Not the all graphite version, but the Retrofit can be installed with an all black look at address. I doubt there is a difference with the other two, but cannot confirm for sure.

I played my first round of the year this past Saturday.  My flat stick was on fire.  I wish I would have noted how many putts I had when it was fresh on my mind.  If I wasn't making them, they were finishing damn close to the hole.  Started by making a 25ft par saving putt on the first hole.  Now, obviously I have no idea how to chalk that up to the shaft haha.  But, the stroke felt smooth, and the head felt stable.  Compared to the other graphite options out there, the UST is a no brainer.

It's in my pxg Hercules right now. I have an 11 ch it'll go in after next week.
