Pretty sure the WRXer wasn’t a tour player.  The guys on Sirius (either the Paulsons or Colt Knost…don’t remember which show it was on) were, so there is that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If there was ever an "effectively wild" golfer like MLB pitchers can be, he was it. Plus as mentioned, he left everyone with a cliffhanger that never resolved.

The longer he's away the greater he was. I very much enjoyed watching him play. Wish he was still playing. However, if he comes back I still won't watch that tour. 

 

Not sure how competitive he would be. But .. if the numbers are true hea not coming back to be competitive. Chaaaaa ching.

Probably. But he was ridiculously talented. Had the Mickelson like mindset and ability to attempt insane shots and pull them off more often then he should. Who knows how successful he would have ended up being. Rory was just getting started, DJ coming into his own. Jordan, JT, and Brooks weren't far away. Maybe he doesn't set the world on fire but he absolutely would have been fun to watch. 

 

At the end of the day, Calvin Johnson may have aged like Julio Jones, Barry Sanders may have blown his knee at 31, and Andrew Luck may have plateaued. They were all fun to watch and we'll never get to know what could have been. That is such a rare way for careers to end that there will always be a little mystique surrounding those people.
