340m = 370y so that makes sense. From what was posted earlier that's a carry number, so I don't think most of us are too worried about hitting that limit. 🙂

The BIGGEST issue that I had with the S300 wasn't the unit but was the app! It felt incomplete. A lot of the features and the way you use the app were very bad. After trying R10s app I'm scared if they don't remake it!

I don't know why but the voice caddie website has a bunch of new listings for the sc4 categorized as specials that all seem to be like youtuber special affiliate link offers but its 50 dollars less than the ones on play better. again I don't know why but I'm kinda considering cancelling my preorder. Also its weird that voice caddie would undercut play better since playbetter promotes its self as an official voice caddie dealer.

I preordered with Playbetter and the prices at both sites are $549.99. Do you have a link to what you are seeing?

Does anyone know the return policy if ordered directly from voicecaddie? Their website only days that you need to get an rma number and pay for return shipping yourself. But i can't find anywhere how long you have if you want to return something.

Ah good catch. I went directly to the SC4 page and did not see all the affiliate links. Seeing all the affiliate links provides us with list of folks we can expect to see reviews from when the embargo lifts.

Is "Spin Axis" a data point? If so, is it calculated like Garmin? I would assume it's not measured like MLM 2 Pro?

spin axis is not a data point that the unit itself can display it might be in the app. if it is in the app its calculated. the device does have launch direction not sure if that is measured or calculated.

IMO the $50 premium is worth it because of the 60 day return policy

I saw on some Instagram comments today that VC4 is confirmed to measure spin axis. Curious if they could do it as well as a Mevo+?

If it can measure spin axis why not say so? Suspicious that it’s not been listed as one of the metrics in the marketing.

Yeah im not sure how reliable instagram comments are lol. But the good news is that there should be some reviews coming out in the next couple weeks. i just cant believe that none of the big youtube review guys were able to get ahold of this before the official ship date.

It was from Voicecaddy, not a person. Voicecaddy responded to their own post.

I mean to do simulation you really have to have it. Still not sure what it means when the unit can generate a spin axis number (likely calculated) but it is totally left off all marketing material. Very strange.

Think I'm sceptical / curious as well, as I mentioned earlier, the built in display only seem to show launch direction, if it was capable of measuring spin axis you would think it would include that as a displayed metric (at least shot shape) on the unit.

Would be nice to know more info, voice caddy been pretty sheepish. I like to know how its measuring spin being a doppler unit and no mention of rct balls. I have a mlm2 pro arriving today but still recovering from hernia surgery so would be nice to see reviews to know whether to keep the mlm2 or go with sc4

RCT balls don't help with measuring spin axis, only spin rate. Most likely they're estimating it, at least indoors, the same way that Mevo+/Trackman/R10 all do. Outdoors it could be measuring it more directly.

They updated the app. Looks better. Awesome they have the club head view stats. Just not sure if they are showing details on shot shape? It just says “direction”. Maybe you’ll need sim software for that. Hmmmmmmm

Outdoors definitely, overall just seems like a reskined sc300i with sim added but we'll see a week til shipping.
