It’s and older set of Hogans. They have midsize grips and should be standard length.  I will try to get pictures tomorrow afternoon.  I will also come up with a price.

It's another early start for this guy. Today is the Final Round of the Member-Member Tournament. 

There will be a Champion crowned today. 

 

Besides the LIVE scoring the other features I like on the Golf Genius App is the list of all the players index's in the field and also the LIVE Odds for the betting. This is the first time Pari-Mutual betting has been a part of a tournament at BFCC. The wagers are "win the Flight" and "win the Tournament". Both outright winners bet or a team to Win, Place or Show.

For the start it's 77* going up to a high temperature of 88*. 

 

There's plenty of excitement in the air.

I don’t like entering the scores but I really like GG.  If Touch wanted he could send us the code and we could see who is doing what in real time.  This is obviously for those unaware of Golf Genius.

 

We follow the kids we know in their tournaments via GG.

 

The state uses it as well, and has for years.

Pardon my ignorance here ms. 
As far as I know a ‘halfway house’ is a living situation that supports recovery for ppl battling drug and/or alcohol addiction.

Dodged the storms today, got a quick 18 in. After driving 425 miles Thursday then another 425 yesterday, I wanted to walk but didn’t have the juice with ambient of 90F and humidity over 70%. 
 

For the record, I used to love road trips. Not now. Since my accident I don’t enjoy drives over about 150 miles at all, but no choice on this one. 🙂
 

Great drive, acceptable 5w, and a really good PW on our long #6 here. I thought it was TIGHT, I was wrong, it was more like 8’. Zoom in and you’ll see it. Missed the putt. 
 

 

Here is 18, didn’t hit my drive well which makes this shot much harder. See the clubhouse tight to the left and the drop off to the right? Both are terrible places to be….I am 185 here so I’m hitting 7w at the cart in the distance there and trying to cut it a bit. 

 

 

I hooked it. 😡 This ain’t no good at all.

Played a 2-man best ball today at a course at which I don't think I've ever broken 90.  It's not that it's overly difficult - I just don't play well there.  Started out +6 through 3 and thought it was another 90+ round, but came up just short of another Ray-Ray round.  45-36/81 (80 adjusted for an 8.8 differential) and that even-par back-9 featured 4 birdies.  I'm not actually sure if I've ever had 4 birdies on a 9. 

 

As usual, it could've been better if not for the 2 par-3's where I hit 9i's - both times I hit pull-draws.  On one, it bounced even farther left onto the next tee box where I was completely blocked by trees and got too cute and ended up with a 6.  On the other, I got the first part right by successfully chipping over a bunker, but then 3-jacked from 15 feet for a 5.

 

The biggest highlight was nearly driving the 300-yd par-4 15th (pic below).  I was about a yard short of the left greenside bunker and chipped over it to tap-in distance for one of the birdies.

 

We finished -5 net.  Unfortunately, my partner had the same net score on both of the aforementioned par-3's which didn't help us.  He had a really bad day overall.

... I hear ya on the "difficult to score course" as I have a couple. One of them Encanto, I don't care for at all and only play during over seeding and the other Founders Verrado I like a lot but for some unknown reason I just never score well there.

I'm dropping Hovland for Xander too. If it comes down to saving pars with savvy greenside wedge work Mr Schauffele has way more talent in that department compared to Hovi. 

I'm hoping for a strong finish in our final Major. I had a horrible First Major (the Players).

You recommended the Verrado courses to me when I came to AZ last year.  We chose the Victory Course as the Founders Course is more difficult.  We had a lot of fun playing the Victory Course.  I shot a 81 and it is a par 72.  Beautiful course !  The 18th was memorable with the elevated tee and having to carry the water, very picturesque and fun, a 470 yard par 5 from the whites.  Got a birdie there 🙂
