If ever there was anyone who fit the PXG mould (as you say before the hype) it would be Ryan Moore. Still loved it when he was rocking the waistcoat and tie look. Dude looked like a crazy hipster golfer, but he sure could carry it off!

I'm a bit surprised as well.  I have the 623-M and they are money.  I thought Ryan would be more of a 623-CB or MB kinda guy.  Extra forgiveness is never a bad thing though.

I think it made some of the extra fancy more accessible for people who had no idea DW existed. national custom does a great job now though

Fast forward, Ryan is on the leaderboard this week at the Barbasol Championship. Hard to see his putter in action, but it doesn’t look like the Betti shown in his WITB. He rocked a YES! Putter forever. Maybe he went back. I think it was a Sandy-12.
