Yes. I'm a higher handicap player and was fitted. The X were too low spin for me, the regular Paradym irons ended up being amazing.

My single digit friends also love them.  They have forgiveness and feel awesome.

I came from cast SGI shovels, so getting good looking irons that are not offset and giant but still don't punish me (much) for my toe miss is nice.

I have a set right now. Not sure if I’m going to keep them — I had a ton of Callaway credit and wanted to try the Recoil Dart 105s, so I figured I’d give them a shot.

First impressions are really positive. They’re very forgiving and easy to hit. They’re long. They’re low-spin but do spin enough to hold greens.

Feel-wise, I mean they’ll never be mistaken for a forged iron, but in the players’ distance realm I actually think they feel very good.

What surprised me most is how compact they are. They have a thicker topline, but overall are a relatively small profile. Callaway also does a great job with the transition from the hosel into the topline, which is something some other manufacturers IMO don’t really get right.

They have plenty of bounce, which should be helpful in early-season, wetter Midwestern course conditions.

The only thing I hate is the badging on the back. It’s really nice and well-done, if you’re into that sort of thing — problem for me is, I’m not.

Looks are in the eye of the beholder and I'm wanting a new set of irons. The looks of these are a definite turn-off for me but I haven't hit them yet so their not out of the running. I'm spending the money for a true fitting this time around and we'll see what that says. Normally I'm a sucker for Callaway but that after playing a bunch of different sets of irons that weren't Callaway and then playing on a business trip with a set of rented Callaways and hitting a couple of my most memorable shots with them at King's Mill I changed my mind and my current bag is Callaway heavy.

If I may ask, what do you think of the Recoil Dart 105s, on their own and in relation to some of the competing 100-110g graphite shafts?  Thanks.

I was able to find a lone 7 iron steel shaft stiff flex for half price. Head still in plastic. Took to the range & was hitting it well. The feel off the face is above average even with the range balls. Will be most likely purchasing the rest of the set. Love the compact look at address. For whatever reason I gravitate towards the more compact irons...If top line is too thin then blade length looks too long. These are perfect to my eye. Would have rather seen the brushed chrome instead of the shiny polished chrome but I would get used to it. The back of the irons look OK. Not something I get overly concerned about. More concerned about how they look at address.

I agree with the wishing they were brushed finish instead of polished, but the performance has been blowing my mind.  I think the offset of the X irons was too much, and these are perfect looking at address.  They're also VERY forgiving.  I had Maltby KE4 MAX irons previous to this set, and they are just as forgiving, but look a lot more compact and feel a LOT better.

Keep iron covers on them as the badge will start wearing/fading bad if you don't unless you're ok with that. Other than that they are some nice irons

I was able to hit the entire Callaway range at their Ely Callaway Performance Center down in Carlsbad off (perfect) turf - given that The Apex '16s were some of my favorite irons that I played some of my best golf with, I came in being pretty sure I'm going to leave with the Apex'21's or Apex Pros or a combo of the two or perhaps TCB's in the short irons. The Paradym irons really surprised me. GREAT soles and turf interactions for those of us that are only -3 or -4 down, really easy to elevate. Spin is on the low-side (for me, 5600 on a 7) but you can obviously order them weak to get 600-800rpm extra. With all the tungsten in there pretty low, and launch high, I think spin would be perfect at low 6000'ish for a 7 iron.

The forgiveness in the Paradym irons is pretty insane and I don't say this lightly. The iron is incredibly good for slight toe and heel strikes, probably the best I've tried including the new 0311P Gen6 (also a great club!). Drop off was 2-3 yards off 7-8mm heel/toe strikes. Only issue I noticed were on high strikes on the face where the spin just really goes down...so if that's your miss, might not be ideal. Thin shots were still playable and got up in the air without issues.

The feel of the irons is good - you can still tell where you strike it - this has been my biggest complaint on my Game Improvement tear with the G430's....great irons but I have 0 idea where I hit it on the face which just doesn't work for me.

The Apex line will be updated this fall so it'll be interesting to see how much tech from Paradym is going to make it over into them; If the Paradym would be satin finish instead of mirror chrome, they'd be an almost perfect iron for my skill level (7.9 index).

No issues so far in a 14 way top bag, but I've heard the same.  I'm wondering if there more chatter in carry bags with just a few openings in the top

Man, going out with my son and showing him how to "swing easy" at the driving range with Top Tracer just makes me appreciate how freaking easy these clubs are to hit.

It's nuts that I don't even have the urge to even try the Smokes that just came out.

(But I probably will.....)

The Smokes with KBS have been phenomenal for me.

I have the PX Silver in stiff, and I'm loving them.  I really like how my elbows and shoulders don't hurt anymore after playing.  Getting old sucks

Bought the 7 iron to test middle of last year cause I found on eBay for $99. Considering they were retailing for $200 a piece I figured why not. Hit it really well & it felt amazing off the face. Was gaming the 2021 P790's at the time & still playing them. But was thinking of adding the irons piece by piece from eBay or CPO when they would become available. Finally was able to obtain the 6 thru the 52 degree gap wedge. Will be testing out on the simulator in next few weeks...

The 52* is my favorite club in the bag.

I am still amazed how forgiving they are for a hack like me, all while looking "small" at address.
