Crafted Golf Clubs - are they experienced/trustworthy?

Hi, has anyone used Crafted Golf clubs .com please?

My Wishon575s are starting to de-chrome (it's flaking and bubbling off after 10yrs)

 

They have offered to strip, re-chrome, recut grooves and rebuild my irons for £40 a club (UK).

 

Seems a fair/good price but I can't find much of an internet footprint, the website is light on actual info, and I am not sure whether to entrust my irons to a company with little public feedback (good or bad).

 

Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated.

HI, Tom Wishon sold his company to Diamond Golf UK so maybe email them to verify this UK repair company, or if they do repairs themselves.  They are both in West Sussex.

Just received my Titliest Vokey Wedges from Craftedgolfclubs and couldn’t be happier with the result. Not a dink left in the club and came back looking and performing like a brand new club. Took around 2 weeks door to door. I wish I’d have sent my old set to be refurbed rather than spend money in a new set of irons now but may send in the future as a second set now I know what an incredible job Chris does. 10/10

I wish I hadn’t bothered. My clubs took over 3 months to be returned and when they eventually arrived my heart sank. The wedges looked okay finish wise but the paint infill was incomplete (I only wanted the loft numbers with paint on a black gloss finish). 

Worse was to come when I looked at the Bettinardi putter..instead of a classy Scotty Cameronesque satin black it came back looking like a piece of rebar in a matte finish (I wouldn’t call it a finish). Again the infill was appalling and a decent putter absolutely ruined.  
I bought paint to redo the paint infill myself and satin spray for the putter that after several hours of work myself was okay enough to put the shaft back in. 
Whilst the wedges looked okay I can report that after 3 rounds the black finish is wearing off…black chrome it is definitely not.
