I was here yesterday and hit all 3 models. The 105s is my bread and butter but the 125x is much more playable than you would expect. Not a piece of rebar, still. Wry smooth.

A while back when the Ventus Velocore Red came out, TXG took and tipped it like crazy. Hence from that point onward, it the Red became the "Purple"

I now play the TR Velocore Red. No way in HELL am I making it a Purple, it's enough for me.

 

It is intriguing for those with higher swing speeds

Purple was a sort of pet name for a tipped Ventus Red to create a different profile.  Fujikura played along nicely.  

 

@Fujikura Golfwe're still patiently waiting for that purple shaft.

Looks like Ventus TR Blue 6s is giving the better numbers but trying TR Red to see how it does. Need to keep the spin up on his toe miss.

Settled on Ping G430 LST 9* head with a Ventus TR Blue 6s in the +1, flat adaptor setting!

Launch and spin was a touch low, so trying Ventus TR Red 6s

we're live on instagram this afternoon for driver fittings!

Getting face impact a little higher on the face with TR Red, now I to TR Blue 6s to see if it controls some shaft droop and gets impact back to center.

Back to Ventus TR Red 6s at N/+1 adaptor setting. TR Red added 200RPM, went down to 45”, and 3mph ball speed, 7yds more carry

The gold standard (pun intended) on tour is the DG X100. Quite a bit of feel, stout enough for tour speeds, 130g uncut constant weights.

Is the axiom 125X a close match to that? Is it more in the X7 territory? S300?

 

And did fuji say anything about the possibility of taper tips for constant weight builds within the year?

The Axiom 125x is a constant weight shaft and should play closer to X100 than X7. 
 

Right now there is no plans for taper, but it isn’t off the table if demand was there.
