Recommendation for SMOOTH Driver Shaft?

I stop playing golf 5 or 6 years ago as I threw out my back few times in middle of rounding.

 

Now I am trying to take up golf again and it seems like lot has changed including many new equipments.

 

I am looking for a smooth shaft for driver.  Any recommendation? 

 

In the past, I tried many different shaft and settled on UST Element MK (aka:Earth).  I have to say it's a Great Shaft.  Smooth and extremely stable not to mention price is very reasonable/economical. 

I was wondering if there are any new shafts out there that is very smooth?

Depends how you define smooth. Generally a mid bend classic blue profile

is that for most people. 
 

I would say most any graphite design shaft is like that especially the VR or DI, a Diamana TB series, or others like that.

Cheap option, go to a demo day and try out some of the stock shafts that have "blue" in the name.

 

Expensive option, drop a grand on a LA Golf G series

Fujikura Rombax the Z series 

Oban Kiyoshi White

Adila Rip Phenom NL

UST Element MK (Earth) 

Also used tried some Fujikura, not sure what its called but it was white shaft with orange logo.  I think it was called VC something.

Diamana ZF. Just put one in a sim head. It's a bit on the long side @ 46" to end of grip. But it's super smooth. Has a decent kick at the bottom of the swing, but it's super stable.

 

I'm playing the 60 stiff. 100mph ish swing speed.

They made a blue ADDI?  I’ve seen the orange and the black.

Yes. They had orange that was for high launch and blue one was for low launch. It was called AD BB

VA CompositesRajin 2.0 55 is the smoothest shaft I've ever hit I use it with my TM Stealth 2 Plus as this shaft is for a hybrid, looks the same Awesome looking and smoothest feeling shaft I've ever hit

I think I am going to try Diamana DF.  Supposedly it's newer version of Whiteboard.  I know there are newer whiteboard models out there but don't want to break the bank.  

 

Anyone have any experience with them?

Take a look at the 5th Generation Diamana line.  Super smooth imo

OP: what’s your swing speed & tempo?

If the price is a point of interest you should look for a Evenflow blue or Evenflow riptide. 
OBAN Kiyoshi Series purple or white depending on much much smoothness you want. Fujikura Ventus red or TR red feels smoother than the Ventus blue that was mentioned above. 
Diamana red series is smoother than the blue ones and even the blue is smooth….

The Aldila NXT Gen NV (green) shafts have a very nice feel to them and they are pretty cheap at 50 bucks. Very underrated IMO.

 

They are marketed as a low/mid flight shaft, but I'd say mid flight would be more accurate in my experience with them.

Yes, I have it and the first shot I hit with it made say “oooohhhh”.  Very accurate and really feels smooth with low spin.  FYI anything Ventus will have have a stiff butt and probably won’t feel great to you.
