For me? No. ZJ can pick anybody from 7 on down and it won't matter to me at all. However I will take great joy at WRX members that will get all hot and bothered if certain people are chosen over others. Looking forward to it. 😄

It looks like some would prefer the bigger celebrities - Fowler and/or Thomas - to be on the team? Is there anyone else outside of the top 12 that anyone is looking at? 
 

EDIT: sorry, I missed Glover as well. 
 

Maybe they should reconvene the task force and factor in PIP?

 I tend to agree with you, but as posted earlier I hope he picks Koepka b/c I think we need him.

Even though the Euros lost Garcia, Poulter and Westwood, none of them played well at all this year,BUT they were the type of players that knew how to annoy the Americans, all 3 played the villain well...I wonder who will step into that role

 

Conversely I wonder who will be the US Captain America or the silent assassin like DJ did last time

 Gooch has won 3 times this year and also last Oct. would be stupid not to have him on team.

 

bryson is playing good at the moment. DJ won this year but like I said could replace him, he is a superstar player though but nothing special lately.

You almost phrased that right….Bryson “had a moment” and shot 58.  He played quite poorly the last event.

 

DJ has played poorly for…. A while now.  Since whenever he got the Saudi cash.

Bryson has had some better finishes lately, game has been more on point. Not to mention shot a 58 recently with a win. Who else has done that? We could use his driver as well. 
 

morikawa hasn’t won this year, he shouldn’t be on the team. Sam burns hasn’t done much lately.

possibly. I’d do koepka and Bryson but they have had a fued in past so doubt Bryson is coming if Koepka does. Most likely only 1 LIV player. 

 

I don’t think cam young should, no career wins. He will crumble. morikawa no wins this year either.

Just because a guy has not won has nothing to do with a team event. Morikawa is still one of the best iron players in the world. Putting is his downside now.  But in an alternate shot or fourball he is a great partner.  He is a definite pick for me.

Two years ago, at the RC Scheffler took down Jon Rahm (#1 at the time) I do believe.

 

Scheffler  won't be beating anyone this RC with his bulky putter. He better be paired in day one matches with a great putter.....🙂

Zero is more like it, bryson is ranked 116, and Gooch is ranked 122 there is zero chance they get picked. They are not even on the radar, Brooks I would skip over and pick 8 -13 on the list. There is no way ZJ picks Koepka and leaves Fowler off the team.

Koepka has won a LIV event, a major , second at another major and 17th at another major. There's no way you can pass him up unless you're just purposely avoiding LIV guys.

If he wanted to be on the Ryder Cup then he could have stayed on the pga tour. It was his choice to go to LIV.

The fact that we're debating if a LIVer should be considered for the Ryder Cup is reason enough for me to leave them off the team.......we don't need the distractions.

I'd want Koepka because he's one of the best players in the world and everyone knows it, i'd want Spieth because he is a former #1 who also just missed out and he can get hot with the putter. 

 

And Fowler seems like an awesome teammate, has played well, has a game suited for match play, and tends to play well in poor conditions too. 

 

After that i have no strong feelings.
