Lin-Q M40X Blue vs TSPX Lin-Q Blue, any comparison?

Anyone have any comparison between NON-TSPX Lin-Q M40X Blue vs TSPX Lin-Q M40X Blue? 

 

I know that specs are totally different with much high torque rating on NON-TSPX. 

 

I currently play the NON-TSPX Blue and it's awesome shaft. Extremely smooth but very firm and stable feel.  I say it plays similar to Diamana GT but feel slightly firmer/stable than GT. 

 

Was just curious how it compares to the TSPX Blue with lower torque rating.

wow I feel the complete opposite. GT (to me) is considerably tighter than M40x Blue. I dont think the GT is a super stiff shaft by any means but the M40x Blue to me is a true smooth Blue profile with plenty of kick towards the tip. I would say the M40x Blue plays softer than the older Diamana ZF even


As for your question unfortunately I havent tried the TSP version. Its a shame bc overall the Lin-Q shafts are excellent and dont get enough hype or people even trying them

 

I had the original Gunmetal version when it was still a prototype and it was arguably the best driving year ive ever had

I agree.  ZF/GT feels more stout and linear compared to the Lin-Q M40x blue which felt softer and had more kick.  GT was more stable as well.  Both are super smooth though.  TSPX was closer in terms of feel to the ZF/GT, IMO.  Probably due to the lower torque.

That's interesting.  Maybe my shaft is not Blue M40X than although I was told by UST it was Blue non TSPX.  I have the Masters Edition and was told by the seller it was white M40X but when I checked with UST with original order number, they told me it was blue Non Spx.  Diamana GT didn't feel stout to me at all but just smooth.  Both GT and Blue had similar ball flight.  I know Diamana DF definitely felt more stout than both GT and Blue.  TB and BF felt even softer/smoother than Blue. 

 

Either case, thanks for the info 😉

I was wrong and you were right. 

 

I was at the range today and tried GT shaft again and it was slightly more stout than my supposedly Blue M40X. 

 

I have so many shafts, it seems like I am getting confused as what each feels like.  I think I was thinking more of Diamana BF vs Blue M40X when I made that comment in the beginning. 

 

I think I need to get rid of some shafts 🤣🤣🤣

 

Either case, I really like my supposedly Blue M40X.  That is my primary shaft I use currently.  

 

I do want to try the TSPX Blue M40X and also possible White M40X but spent way too much on shaft recently so need to stop buying shafts for a bit

No such thing as having too many shafts.  Also, I'd love to pick up a M40X Black just to test against my TR Black, but they're still pricey.

I had a similar experience with GT vs Non tspx M40x blue. The GT felt a little more linear and what I noticed was the GT made my driver sound more hollow/higher pitched. It didn’t feel terrible but I did not like the change in sound. The M40x blue is great all around, feels great, tight dispersion and low spin. It’s a sleeper and I am very impressed with it.
