Wedge Stamp Size and Paint Fill

Looking to dabble with some stamps for irons/ wedges. For those that are using them, what size would you say would be a safe size to get? Options are 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm. Sets come in A-Z with 0-9

 

And what paint fill are you using? TYIA!

paint fill  I use standart Acryl pencil that you can buy in nearly every color

any specific brand? I assume Acryl was the brand name but cant seem to find anything on them.

Sharpie Paint Pens are used by a lot of guys, I have a few myself and super easy to use.

easy to get into small stamps as well? Or are you talking about the super fine tipped ones?

Easy enough for what I need, if you're going to be doing really fine and detailed work then either a toothpick or needle point on a bottle will be needed.

Tamiya enamel hobby paint or Testers are good to use too.

I always had good luck with Testors paint and then mineral spirits or acetone to clean up the edges.  Good luck.

@NerdyGolfer Acrylic Painter water based, marks on everything is what my pen says…. No  brand visible. Was out of a hand craft shop. Very simple.

I have heard of testors in the past, so I'll probably pick that up. I couldn't find the thread about it though. Now to find what stamp size is best!

I'd recommend 1/8", but see what other members have to say.  Can find those pretty cheap through Harbor Freight.  Testors paint can be found cheap as well, with a ton of colors.

Sorry to open up a new subtopic here.

 

What Testors' paint color best matches Scotty Cameron's cherry dots? I'm considering filling in the empty dots on my Super Select Golo 6.5. I'm trying to match the red color on the bottom of the sole. I thought the stop light red or dark red should do the trick!

Hobby Lobby by the model car kits, little enamel paint jars. Brought a driver shaft in there once to match the color maybe try that?
