Lawrence led by two shots with two holes to play ... and then didn't birdie 17 or 18. He'll be far more disappointed than Rory I'd imagine ...

Personally I love the fact that Billy prioritises our PGA Championship in his schedule each year. It's such a historic event.

Great finish to a great tournament. Guess I'm not the only one that rooted for Rory, but Billy Ho is a class act.

Great tournament, save for the morons who yell nonsense after almost every shot by Rory or Horschel.  Seems that the Brits have an even bigger contingent of those goobers running around the course than we do over here in the States.

 

The networks need some AI that immediately mutes the mic right after impact and replaces the next five seconds with a loop of general crowd sound.

Man...Rory has been so close to a great season.  Yikes.  Need to be mentally strong to keep getting into contention.  The putts will drop and the bounces will go your way eventually (I think!).

4 runner ups this year including both tours, 11 top 5s total. That is seriously good golf. Xander had 10 top 5s, Scheffler 13.

the par was the choke it would have been a solid finish if rory had birdied 17 then 18 but because he did all  the work on 17 with a 40foot bomb he then chokes on the next hole then again it could have been worse seeing as thirsten parred 17 and 18

Do me a favour , be hard-pressed to beat you lot and the rubbish you shout out after every shot 'get in the hole' when players are teeing off on a par 5 for example.

 

WTF is that all about.

 

Lawrence lost that yesterday only needed to birdie one of the last two holes which were par 5s.

 

Choke job their ,sorry to say.
