BMW International Open, probably not the event it once was but it still gets a good field.

 

Curious decision to have both the Bryan brothers in the field as invites.

 

Patrick Reed is in the field and so too is Sergio Garcia (making that final push for a RC spot haha). Very bizarre that Sergio has waited this long to play on the DPWT as he supposedly settled the fines a long time ago.

David Puig is clearly playing well but he doesn't seem to do well when he's near the top at the business end. Massive talent so interested to see how he can overcome this.

 

Two solid rounds from Joost Luiten has him well positioned for the weekend.

 

Sergio has a bad back and you can tell from his demeanour as he's miserable.

Don't you find it odd that Wesley can beat Reed here and make the cut, and confirm that he is a legitimate pro golfer, but somehow struggles against hacks on YT?

Why does he need to confirm he's a legitimate pro golfer when he's won on the PGA Tour? At Harbor Town no less.

 

Golf is hard. Even great players struggle at times. He's still ranked 314 in the OWGR.

I'm not questioning his skill.  I'm questioning the sincerity of youtube golf content. His in particular,  and much of it in general.

wesley doesnt play youtube hacks straight up i think your watching his vids expecting him to drop course records on 10 hcp guys but no one would agree to play with him if thats the content he made.

Professional tour tournament golf over 4 rounds is a different beast.

 

That is why a lot of very good professionals don't ever make it.

Jerry Kelly once said when he is home playing with his buddies he plays like a 4.  Wesley shot a 61 last year at a Tour Stop. He has game but not as consistent as others.
