These really are a solid line of premium milled putters. I guess it’s a tough market to crack but I don’t think there was much fanfare around these when they were released which may have hurt the sales.

you can order them with any alignment aid you want, custom stamping, and loft/lie, multiple finish etc.

Apologies, but I don’t see where these custom options you mentioned are available in the TP Reserve line… perhaps you’re referring to the MyTP putter line?

Sadly, your points are bang on. TM has a penchant for waiting at least a year after launch to offer custom options...

 

For a line like this, it should have been from the get go. Launch the basic models at retail, offer your loyal customers options for custom options immediately - The MyTP program is excellent, so why do this for your basic line of putters and not your 'Reserve'?

 

I think the headcover thing is subjective, some will like, some will hate but I do find a lot of these orgs do not practice what is referred to in the CX space as 'Design Thinking'. Why not take a 1000 of your Eagle-level loyalty members and survey the hell out of them before launch? Get the VOC (Voice of the Customer) before you release and get inputs from your top customers before you go into potential mine fields. Many orgs such as TM would do well to follow this philosophy...

I thought it could be done on reserve stuff too. Couple of my juniors have custom ones but they are also supported by Taylormade so could be one offs

Probably a staffer or sponsored option, was never a MyTP option sadly which makes no sense and how much bigger of a failure TM was on this.

I have a B11. Swapped out a UST all in shaft with a Cleveland soft milled putter. 

 

I have constructed the perfect putter. The UST shaft improved the feel, and performance of the B11. I dare say it's fixed the "not as responsive as a Cameron" issue

 

The grip has grown on me too, I think it's the perfect size, and hardness for a blade.
