Do you compliment someone's swing at the driving range?

Anyhow, answer to the question is a hard NO.  I pay zero attention to what everyone else at the range is doing.

 

Now....someone typically chats me up at the range if it's busy and we are right next to each other.  No humble brag here -- there just aren't that many folks working on a one-armed swing.  I don't mind it at all, people are always nice about it and I'm happy to tell you it's not a drill, it's the way I play golf!

Do you just work on swings with a single arm (like Daly chipping) or do you only HAVE one arm?

I lost a lot of functionality in my L arm a few years ago in a car accident -- my elbow is fused and will not bend, but that's not stopping me from playing golf -- I learned to play with one arm.

I only compliment swing speed anyone could have nice swing but someone with good swing speed truly works on it.

Yes of course. Now if their swing is terrible I’m not offering any advice obviously. But if they have a nice swing why not compliment it.

No, I mind my own business.  I find it weird when rando's try to talk to me out there, but when they do I try to be polite.

I match people's energy, if they wanna talk i likely will. If they are focused , why should I bug them? I think the key is respect everyone and don't force talk on them. They want to practice some golf, its not happy hour.

I force them to accept my kindness. I also put loads of pressure on folks by wishing them to have a good day or to play well. 😉

Actually had someone tell me that once, she seemed in a bad mood.  
Mostly I get a thank you when I hold a door for someone.  
 

But, interrupting someone when they are concentrating and focused on doing something seems to me to be inconsiderate.  Always have to “read” the situation, but if I’m practising I don’t appreciate an interruption.  Maybe you don’t mind but some people might.
