Looking for holy grail golf pants

Needs: light, stretchy fabric

Fit: room in thigh not slim fit

Likes: Stretch waistband and internal silicone strip so shirt doesn't fall out. 

 

Eb66 fits me very well, but a bit heavy and not stretchy.

Footjoy performants shorts are great for me but pants aren't quite perfect.

 

Thoughts?

Have you tried Bonobos yet? I buy the Highland Tours and they're great, the fabric isn't super light though. I have a pair or two of the older Highland light fabric ones but it doesn't look like they sell those anymore. I haven't tried the Performance Link yet, but it seems like that fabric is lighter than the Highland Tour. Give them a shot... lots of colors, stretchy, multiple fits to choose from, silicone strip. You can also get them super cheap if you're not too picky on colors and wait until they're on 40% off stuff already on sale.

Big fan of TGW Men's Flat Front Stretch Waist Performance Golf Pants.  They have everything you described and are cheap.  Very lightweight, stretch and in the summer is like you are wearing shorts.  Probably not great for cold weather

I’ve tried a ton and always come back to Lululemon. They have several styles and fits so I’m sure you can find the ones perfect for you. They are pricey but high quality. I got 5 years out of one pair with heavy usage (mostly in the office).
I believe they now have golf specific pants but haven’t tried them. The ABC trouser in warpstreme material is my go to office/golf pant.

Lululemon.  Pricey, but they fit well and will last a long time.  

 

Also, check out VRST.  Stretchy, very light, and price is pretty decent.  They're regularly on sale, and have slim and athletic cut options.  I'm always super picky about how pants fit, and the slim option they have fit me perfectly.

If price isn’t a factor and you are willing to pay for quality it’s lulu by a mile.  I prefer commission but ABC are just as good.  I can wear them to the course, to run errands, or to a customer executive meeting.  If on a budget, target and old navy can’t be beat for price/output.  Lulu pants and shorts are the best golf apparel investment I’ve ever made

I bought a pair of Ping Franklyn Golf Trousers, and they're easily the best golf trousers I have. The adjustable waistband is amazing, the magnetic back pocket, and fits perfectly.

I like my lululemons and they’re comfortable but the material is mid thickness at best. They’re not thin and I don’t wear them for golf in even borderline warm weather - I do prefer to walk though. So maybe for cart golf.
