I know us regular amateurs adjust the driver settings to help us with loft and lie, but curious why a pro needs to adjust her driver and 3 wood heads up in loft via the adapter? As opposed to having the specs already tailored perfectly

Exactly. Remember what adjustable hosels replaced; the bending of them. Why spend more on manufacturing heads in a wider variety of loft/lie/face angle combos when you can simply shoot roughly down the middle and allow the adjustable hosel to take care of the rest. Assuming that is a 1.5* tour hosel then she has the head adjusted 2* closed and slightly upright in addition to have the weight moved towards the draw position. Lots of LPGA players use similar draw biased setups, so making a bunch of heads with those specs just for them costs a lot more than simply having adjustable elements to get those variations. And as third-times-a-charm said above, it's is not just for amateurs. Go comb the various WITBs for Taylormade staffers (or free agents using their stuff). You'll find an awful lot of non "STD" hosel settings.

Very true but you also have to be very strong to have a tempo like that at an effective rate. Her transition to impact is all power, I love watching her swing, have since I first saw her.

*this is WRX, so feel I need to say. Yes there are guys that play MB blades on the PGAT. Just few and far between

Your soto is more custom than hers - 303 is the standard steel used in all the TP blades. Your insert is the same as well...

 

I play these as well and love the insert (Insert comments here that TM inserts suck, all inserts suck, except those by other OEM's, etc. etc. blah blah blah). The interesting piece for me is those pros playing with the TP blades w/inserts seem to be reluctant to switch to the new milled 'Reserve' models (Charley, Collin,  Thorbjorn Oleson to be specific). There is no question the TP inserts have a softer, but amazing feel in my opinion...

I couldn't agree more.  I bought the Soto with every intention of installing a copper-milled insert.  Mostly for vanity.  The insert rolls so well that I don't want to mess around with it.

I agree. If TaylorMade had offered a stock TP Collection Soto Flow Neck, I would have gotten one. The TP Collection was a pretty good value at under $200.

 

(I definitely debated  MyTP but, instead I waited and got the fully milled TP Reserve B29. Not as good of a value as the TP Collection, but the putter is top notch.)

I'm late to this party, but wanted to comment on just how gracious Ms. Hull is with fans.  I was at the 3rd round of the Queen City Championship this year and Charley Hull's relaxed engagement with the fans was remarkable.  She was making a Saturday charge.  On one short par 4 she was maybe 18' above the hole while her playing companions were mucking about.  She was in the crowd across the rope signing and chatting with the young fans for at least 10 minutes waiting for the other two to reach the green.  After which she calmly made the downhill twister for birdie.

 

My new favorite player!
