Our golf trip used to be to PHX on Super Bowl weekend.  We'd play Thursday, Friday, go the WM tournament on Saturday, golf Sunday morning and went back to the rental house to grill and watch the Super Bowl. As others have said, the game is on so late now that it's easy to fit them both in...

My golf season runs from mid-March through season-ending Amateur tournaments in October.

 

Within the non-golf months of the year, I...

• Go to they gym
• Do odd jobs around house which would otherwise interfere with golf
• Get my income taxes done (refund size has impact on discretionary income)
• Watch the Superbowl

Hell, we used to go to the Colonial on Thursdays and Fridays with the intention of staying at the tournament all day, yet would peel off after a couple of hours to play 18 instead of watching the best in the world do it.

I'm down with all the above except trick or treating with my kids.  It is kinda hard to play at midnight on NYE or any other night event though.

What an absolutely ideal opportunity for WRXers to tell us when the stopped watching the NFL and why! Hopefully some added in NBA and MLB while they were at it 😊

Haha, the last NFL game of any kind I watched start to finish was Warner losing to the Steelers in the Super Bowl. Quit watching as my girls got older and my old favorites faded away.  And since the WM holds little interest, lol, it’s a good day for snowshoeing and catching up on Masterpiece Theater recordings!

 

Now on to baseball and basketball……. 😀

West coast guy here so I will generally go steelheadin in the morning then watch the game. Shift change so neither this year which is fine as I have no desire to watch a Harbaugh team or Mahomes

Easy choice.  Golf 10 out of 10. NFL football is absolutely impossible to love.  And I watch college football  every single Saturday.
