Iron search - spinny like i210 but more forgiving

As the title says, what iron heads are out there that are equally as spinny or more spinny than i210's but are bigger/all round more forgiving AND can still be bent weak if needed? Any kind of sole is fine. I realise this combination of requests may not exist, but worth an ask

Search includes current model stuff but also anything from the last 5 years or so really. Just want to see what's out there

I haven't hit either but everything I have read says G425s spin a lot. They can be bent and should be much more forgiving than the i210s.

Thank you, these look very interesting. Can get them with Recoil's second hand too, Ping second hand always just seem to have AWT's in them which I'm not a fan of.

I went from Ping i200 in power spec lofts because I liked the launch and spin,  Wanted something easier so I went to G425 irons in retro lofts which pretty much made them the same lofts as power spec'd i200's.  I realized though even with my slower swing... 7i carry is 140 yds I could make std loft g425's work so I sold the retro spec lofts and bought a std loft set of G425's.

 

Another set of irons that are smaller sized like the i200-i210's but spin and have good distance and height are Srixon ZX5 mkii's.  

they flew as high and spun nearly just as much as i230's during my fitting.

923 HL's are nice irons but they do have a decent amount of offset and girth compared to something like a Ping i series iron.

 

The HL's are very comparable to something like a Ping G series iron having owned the HL's for a hot minute.  The way I measure they are 1/8" wider sole and longer blade length than G425/G430.

I was also going to say G425's. Number for number it's probably not.  But, I love the spin and touch I get with the U (49.5) and W (44.5) on my G425 set. 

 

I wouldn't just change the lofts of them without first trying them with the default though.

I can second the Mizuno's mentioned above. I had JPX923 HMP for a couple months, very spinny, then switched into a JPX923F and also very high spin irons. I prefer the forged for gapping reasons, and they can be bent weak/strong also. The whole JPX923 line is nice.

Yeah i'd be concerned about the "more forgiving" part since i210s are extremely high MOI. The only way you're going to get more functional forgiveness is with a hotter face which is what the Mizunos mentioned would provide along with maintaining said higher MOI.

I've had these since June and they are higher spinning than just about any GI iron out there.  Very forgiving on mis-hits and nice, high flight.

I’ve got JPX923 Hot Metal irons bent 2 degrees weak. Great spin, less offset and easy to hit. I also have 923 Hot Metal Pro’s which have even less offset. That are also bent 2 degrees weak.

I have i210's and love them and never changing 😍

 

These are for my wife, the i210's were an easy reference point
