Winter Golf Mitts

After a particularly cold round today, I am on a mission to find better golf mitts. Today it was in the low to mid 30s with 10-15mph winds, rain to start that changed to little ice pellets that hurt really bad as they pounded your face. My hands were super cold and it killed my game at times because I could not feel or hold onto the club well.

 

I have the latest Titleist over mitts, and no offense to them, but they work great on a non-gloved hand, but put a glove on, especially a WET glove and good luck getting your hand in there! Do they even use the stuff they make?

 

I have some Clicgear CartMitts and those are the style of what you need to have. Something that gets your hands out of the weather with little effort if you are wearing gloves. I just found this glove on Amazon. I am hoping this works, because at 25% of the cost of my current mitts it would be hilarious.

 

What do you use in the winter? I have winter golf gloves of many varieties but if I have a glove on my non-normal glove hand (right), it is easy to hit errant shots.

I use the Ping mitts. They work fine for me and keep me warm so during the round I'm not concerned with my hands. Slide on and off easy enough. Don't have a model number but they probably only have one mitt.

The battery powered heat strip is nice and since G-Tech is more than golf not hard to find one on sale too.

The way to go is cart mitts. Keep em on until it’s time to hit a shot. I play in very cold weather and have tried all types of winter gloves and cart mitts are the only thing that works for me. I just wear my normal golf glove on my left hand and keep it on and put the cart mitts over. I like to walk and carry my bag and I still use them. Usually my hands end up sweating even when in the low 30’s. Probably bc I’m walking though…

Thirded.  G-Tech is a nice product, particularly if you are carrying your bag.

I have the footjoy mittens that have hand warmer pockets. Throw 2 in there and I’m toasty.   But the hand warmers at Costco.

I use a push cart, so I have the generic stroller mitts from Amazon like the ones you linked. When it’s really cold I throw in some heat warmer packs. Can’t be beat. 
 

if I’m carrying my bag honestly I usually just walk with my hands down my pants. You’d be shocked at how warm your butt and legs are

Bit of overkill but have multiple uses. I use a pair of Arcteryx Down Mittens. Almost too warm. Pack down nicely as well for storage. Relatively minimalistic look.

Strap them to the cart steering wheel. Strap a G Tech warmer around your waist. No cold hands.

I just got one of these and they are amazing! A little smaller than I thought but not bad.
