New Level has new irons up on their site

Just noticed two new releases from New Level. 480-MC and 480-TC. I really love the the MC has more traditional lofts with a 47 deg PW and 35 deg 7 iron. Just when I thought I could resist something new this year, they go an do this. The MC looks small too.

When you buy some, let us know how they are (LOL). I have my eyes on the same thing.

I think they look like different versions of the Maltby irons.  I had my eyes on some of the OG NL stuff back in the day but haven't really liked the look since

I have the 623-M which I've been gaming for the better part of 3 years.  Do I need new irons?  No, but NL has some of the best DTC irons, IMO and I'm tempted.

In hand they look nothing like Maltby irons. I like Maltby but those are larger game improvement heads. You won’t see those on Tour. 
 

The 480 TC is far more compact with shorter blade lengths. It’s a Tour level iron, is being played on the PGA Tour and Champions Tour (where the 480TC won the event first time out). It’s a very clean design, less busy on the back. Just a beautiful club. The web site photos do not do it justice. 
 

I have the 8-P, arrived last week. They’re excellent, the feel is superior. Very consistent distances. A very friendly better players iron. i posted some photos on another thread. The 480-TC is slightly smaller than a Srixon ZX7. I have played two rounds with this half-set of New Levels and these play as well and feel as good as any pure 1020 forged iron out there.

Some of these website pictures or I like to say "catalog" pictures its really had to differentiate the actual sizes.  I would love to see them first hand.

Sign me up for the 480 MC.  How's the offset on the 480 TC?

I had to check because I don’t see much at all. I have the 8-P and it is .07 on those. Less than Srixon ZX7 I also have.

The value this place offers is ridiculous compared to the Majors. I see a Pro Hybrid, Pro Tour FW, and some wedges headed my way

Still playing their Tri-Weight wedge. It’s a great club.

I got the SPN, M-grind when they were clearing their old stock.  Almost as good as my Miura Tour HB which will eventually need to be replaced.

I have the older 623-M and they feel softish.  I had Vega VDC-01 which were buttery soft but these are a bit more solid in feel like Miura's.

I have the 623 MB/CB and they are incredible.  I love to try new clubs and tinker but I can’t find anything that even comes close to them.  Unreal price for them right now on the website. I Also have the older model 902.  
 

absolutely amazing company with incredible customer service.  I sent them a question via email Sunday morning and heard back immediately.  Build quality is also absolute perfection.

Here are 6 irons and PW. My 8 iron is in a car that’s not here. 
 

This is (top to bottom) the 480-TC, og ZX7 and 2023 P770 6 irons. ZX7 has thickest top line, the 480 and ZX7s soles are comparable width but flatter sole on the 480, and the p770 has the thinnest top line and sole.
